Myself and girlfriends recently had the pleasure of experiencing a dinner prepared by chef Bonito and mixologist Asamatand it was nothing short of spectacular. From the very first interaction, their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail stood out.

The food: Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. Every bite was memorable.

The drinks: The cocktails were not only expertly crafted but also tailored to our taste.

Beyond the food and drinks, what truly made the experience exceptional was their warm personality, seamless service, and passion for their craft. They created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and refined, allowing us to fully enjoy the evening.

The 2chefs that cooked for us were professional the food was amazing. I would highly recommend them

The food chief Bonito served was made of love. The service was good, the food was full of flavours, it tasted amazing. Our Mixologist was great, kept our glasses filled up. The two went hand in hand. I couldn’t fault it the whole experience was just amazing. I would highly recommend recommend chef Bonito.👏🏾👍🏽

From the very beginning, Darryl was an absolute pleasure to work with. As my first point of contact at Chef’s Compliments, his communication was clear, timely, and incredibly thoughtful. He helped me plan a detailed menu for a party of six, taking into account everyone’s meal preferences and dietary needs. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and his support made the planning process seamless.

On the day, Chef Bonito and Mixologist Asamat delivered beyond expectations. They were both warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. The food was absolutely exquisite—perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and served with care. Every dish was a hit!

The cocktails were another highlight—expertly mixed with a perfect balance of alcohol and mixers. Every drink was delicious!

This was a surprise and a appreciation weekend with my girlfriends they were thrilled, as they had no idea what I had planned. It made the evening even more special.

I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to the team for their kindness and awareness during a difficult time in my life. Despite my recent bereavement, they helped turn what could have been a somber evening into one filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

My friends and I would 100% recommend Chef’s Compliments to anyone looking for exceptional service, incredible food, and a memorable experience. I will definitely be using your company again in the future.

We used Chef's compliments for a BBQ with friends. The waitress arrived first and set about prepping the Pimms and then serving them to the guests. The chef then arrived and had lots of his prep already done. He then got on with lighting the BBQ and cooking & serving up lovely food. Everyone was very impressed and it allowed us time to spend with our guests.

The whole experience from start to finish was easy and straight forward. The booking was for 14 adults and 2 children with various dietary requirements and allergies. Darryl dealt with everything and nothing was too much trouble. Chef Oli arrived on the evening with our waiter Matt. The meal was absolutely delicious. We couldn't believe what Chef Oli was able to create in just 2 hours for vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters and the children. Matt was lovely and looked after us all evening. When we had finished our meal, they cleared everything away leaving the kitchen spotless. Would definitely recommend.

The lesson with Chef Bonito was great fun. He was amazing in organising all nine of us and making sure that the food was ready at the right time. And the food was amazing!
Chef Bonito has a lovely relaxed personality, we all got on well with him which made the evening even more enjoyable.
I wouldn’t hesitate to do this again (just need to wait for the next special celebration 😊)

I have nothing but unreserved praise for Chef's Compliments and their cooking session - the whole team was outstanding. I received, as an Xmas present, an afternoon of cookery training at home - and the whole afternoon was an absolute delight.

My booking was handled by Darryl, who came up with interesting ideas for the menu, but was also prepared to 'flex' his ideas - for instance, we switched out one 'main' for a dessert, and the menu was flexible enough to allow us to prepare a fish-based main course for a pescatarian diner, as well as a main with meat for the meat-eaters.

On the day, Chef Bonito arrived 5 minutes early. He came fully-prepared with all of the equipment we would need, and he was a wonderful teacher. He worked expertly and calmly with me (very much a 5 out of 10 skilled chef, on a good day!) and my two teenage kids. Things were explained clearly and in a kind manner - patient, despite our lack of skills, and with excellent and engaging teaching. And the product of our labours was simply wonderful - light and lovely gyoza, full of fresh vegetables and zingy ginger; a delicious main of toulouse sausages and a lentil & veg stew (with sea bream for the fish-eater) cooked in a stock and wine reduction; and a decadent burnt basque cheesecake.

Chef Bonito tidied as he went, had all the ingredients, had all the skills, and is a brilliant teacher as well as a lovely man. What a great gift and what a great day. You should book this session - you're in for a real treat.

I recently hired Chefs Compliments for my birthday. Chef Ben and waiter Nigel catered for 16.
The service was excellent and everything cleared away after. Chef Ben explained each course which was an added bonus.
The only course which was not enjoyed was the pasta course of ravioli and cauliflower purée which was tasteless but every other course was delicious !

Darryl was so helpful and easy to deal with. Christmas dinner for 40+ people arranged at relatively short notice. He pulled out all the stops to make the set up and arrangements and the food and service perfect. Thanks Darryl.

We recently hired a chef for a private 3 hour cooking lesson at our home on 3rd January. The whole booking process was super easy with Darryl. He was responsive and great to deal with. The experience was fantastic with Bonito the chef and myself and my husband found it so much fun, and just the friendliest atmosphere. Chef Bonito then cleared up for us at the end, leaving us to enjoy the tasty 3 course meal we had just created. I would recommend this company.

Amazing food and amazing service. We had to arranged Christmas dinner for 40+ people at our home. The team did everything, tables/chairs, amazing service and food was unreal. Def use their services again!

Wow, what an amazing experience. I booked Chef’s Compliments for my husband’s 60th birthday. Our chef Ben was fantastic and served up 3 amazing courses plus canapés. When Ben left, the kitchen was left immaculately clean and tidy. I put all the dinner plates etc into the dishwasher as figured that wasn’t part of Ben’s cleaning up. I would totally recommend this Company even though it’s a bit scary not being able to pay on credit card for extra security.

Both the food and the service were exceptionally good.

What a superb night Chris and his wife put on for my wife's 60th. They explained all the dishes carefully before we tucked into some excellent food.

The event was extremely successful and Chef Dale and his team were excellent in making sure everything went smoothly. All my guests were very impressed and delighted with everything. The food was superb - everyone was catered for exceptionally well - it really couldn't have been better! Amy too saw to everyone's needs making sure glasses were filled and food was displayed beautifully.
