Generally, a very trustworthy source to purchase watches globally, but charges extortionate amounts for transactions both for sellers and buyers.
I've used Chrono24 for several years now both for sales and purchases.
Picking out 2 specific experiences:
1. Purchased a watch from a professional dealer that later turned out to have had some potential water ingress. After raising it with both Chrono24 and the dealer directly, Chrono24 basically left me to my own devices without any meaningful support. The case is still unresolved after 2 years, and the dealer stopped responding to my messages. Since they're on a different continent, there isn't anything I can do about it.
2.Purchase a watch from Japan and Chrono24 did what it does best, used an incredibly bad exchange rate to calculate what I should pay in USD (because that's the only currency supported in the country I'm in). For reference, the difference in exchange rate have overcharged was 500+ Euros, under the excuse of having to take the FX risk. But in reality, USD/JPY is incredibly stable, and the risk exposure on their end was only for 1-2 days at most. Surely doesn't warrant the huge premium. This is happened to me with other currencies also in the past, but Chrono24 has no flexibility in allowing payments to happen directly in some of the currencies.

Sellers enter the listing price in their local currency. Chrono24 then converts the price and displays it to the buyer before they pay for their order.
Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer buyers a choice of payment currency.
The exchange rate used by the payment service provider is a maximum of 2.5% above the price set by the European Central Bank (ECB). In addition to standard exchange fees, this difference also includes the costs of transferring the money; for example, between Europe and North America.
We completely understand if a buyer decides not to buy a watch as a result of these costs. In this case, a short message to us is sufficient.
Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse any cost benefits that may arise for the buyer or seller from using a more favorable exchange rate.
