La mia esperienza con Ciao Rent Car è stata molto negativa. Mi è stato contestato un presunto danno che non era visibile né al ritiro né alla riconsegna del veicolo. Per individuare quelli che definiscono “micrograffi” sono state necessarie numerose fotografie ravvicinate, e anche così il danno risulta difficilmente percepibile.
Dispongo di foto ad alta risoluzione scattate prima e dopo il noleggio che documentano chiaramente le condizioni dell’auto e per questo contesterò l’addebito. Inoltre, leggendo altre recensioni, ho notato che diversi clienti riportano esperienze simili con contestazioni ritenute poco chiare.
Da quanto indicato anche dalle associazioni dei consumatori, danni minimi ( l'AGCM e gli standard di settore (come quelli ANIASA o BVRLA MINIMO 20MM) o quasi impercettibili dovrebbero rispettare criteri oggettivi di visibilità e dimensione prima di poter essere addebitati al cliente. Consiglio quindi a tutti di documentare accuratamente il veicolo con foto e video dettagliati e, in caso di addebiti contestati, di contattare subito la banca o l’emittente della carta di credito richiedendo un rapporto ufficiale e completo del presunto danno. Tale documentazione può poi essere sottoposta ad associazioni dei consumatori come Altroconsumo o agli enti competenti, affinché un soggetto terzo e indipendente possa verificare la reale fondatezza di quanto dichiarato dalla società di noleggio.

This is worst rental experience of my life. It took almost an hour to get the car and a I paid for a cleaning fee upfront. The worst was on return of the car were they claimed I had a scratch. It was almost impossible to see but also impossible to discuss with them. Their business model is to scam off customers. Be aware!

At pick-up (daytime): I recorded a 360° video showing ALL pre-existing damage including scratches. Staff assured me the video would protect me.
At return (evening, garage, artificial light + flashlight): Different staff claimed I caused a scratch CLEARLY VISIBLE in my pick-up video. When shown the video, they refused to acknowledge it claiming "different lighting."
They exploited my flight urgency to pressure me into signing quickly.
THIS IS A COORDINATED FRAUD SCHEME:
Pick-up staff assure you videos protect you (so you don't insist damage be noted)
Damage deliberately not marked officially
Returns scheduled in different lighting (evening, garage, flashlight vs daytime)
Staff refuse video evidence using absurd "lighting" excuse
Exploit flight pressure for quick signatures

Проблемы возникают у тех кто не хочет мыть авто,кто не ценит чужой автомобиль,кто ищет авто за 1 евро и бегает в поисках дешёвой оренды через брокера/посредника так как на прямую не хочет орендовать потому что дороже цена,кто не читает свой ваучер оренды.Люди очнитесь вы здесь сопли пускаете за 10-15 евро,за деньги которые с вас списывают когда вы получаете штрафы.Вы приезжаете в Италию в одну из самых дорогих туристических стран мира и хотите самолёт за 10 евро но за перевес багажа доплачиваете 50-100евро,хотите B&B за 20-25 евро но жалуетесь что с вас берут 2-5 евро в день за туристический сбор,хотите авто за 3-5 евро в сутки и чтобы она была всегда новая и после детейлинга но жалуетесь за цепы за 4 евро в день и за мойку за 15 евро.Аытобус из Бергамо в Милан стоит на минутку 12 евро в одну сторону,одна поездка на прокатном самокате в Милане стоит 1,5€ .Сидите лучше дома у себя чем будете плакать и падать в обморок за 10-50€ это Италия здесь за всё нужно платить а вы хотите даром но Феррари.

Elle a fait un max de photos et nous a conseillé d'en faire également car, elle nous a clairement menacé qu'au check-out ça serait ses photos contre les nôtres. Le pare-brise était tellement sale que la visibilité était réduite avec le soleil, hors elle a exigé qu'on lui remette le véhicule propre!!! De plus, il y avait une tâche de ciment sur la porte avant droite qui réduisait également la visibilité. C'est indécent de louer des véhicules dans cet état !!!

The staff's behavior was appalling and beyond imagination. I was subjected to verbal abuse and physical threats.
The treatment I received from these individuals is unacceptable in a civilized society. Only people completely lacking in basic culture and integrity would resort to threats, insults, and deliberate fraud. This behavior demonstrates a total lack of professional standards and basic human decency. These individuals rely solely on aggression and intimidation rather than reason or law. Their actions are profoundly antisocial and have no place in a professional environment.

Des arnaqueurs, des voleurs et aucune réponse à mon dernier mail suite a une amende que nous avons reçu et que l'agence de location a prélevé sur notre compte et nous recevons maintenant la même amende mais de la police de Milan pour la même infraction. L'agence de location ne l'a jamais reversé. Donc on l'a paye 2 fois avec une majoration en plus.

Unsafe and unprofessional rental company. The car provided was in unacceptable condition, with front tires worn almost to the limit. The fuel level was falsely stated as “full” while it was clearly not.
The handover was rushed and careless. When I refused to accept the unsafe vehicle and asked for a replacement, staff attempted to charge an unjustified winter tire fee.
The interior was dirty, staff behavior was rude and aggressive, and customer safety was clearly not a priority. This company appears focused on upselling rather than providing roadworthy vehicles. Avoid.
Grifters disguised as car rental
If I could give less than 1 star I would. We hired 2 cars July 2025 for our extended family. On return they charged for damage that wasn’t there and 120euro for extraordinary cleaning. They refused to justify the charges or even discuss. I only paid because we would have missed our flight which I suspect they knew and used as leverage (rental site is away from Bergamo airport). After we had left more damage was added - strange that both cars had exactly the same damage! On return I took this up with my credit card company and got a full refund. I’ll never be back and I’ve hired dozens of cars over the years and never had any problems until now.
Bad faith business—and they know it
Bad faith business. I rent cars dozens of times a year. Their advertised price does not include MANDATORY fees that will be added upon pick up. Car chains are mandatory (half of the year) AND not included in the price. The surprise cost added to my bill upon pick was THREE TIMES MORE PER DAY compared to advertised. My booking voucher explicitly said "Pay at pick up:
0.00 EUR" and yet I paid three times more than my prepayment. They know exactly what they are doing.
Can't wait for the drop for surprise fees (they hinted at a mandatory clean up fee).
This will be escalated, reported, and claimed back (rented at one of Milan's locations).

Then €20 for cleaning the car, even though they told me it would be €15. In total, €256 extra, including VAT. The guy was very rude, insulted me, and then started recording me. We had a heated argument, but I was respectful throughout. He claimed I called him a pig, which isn't true. Don't be tempted by low prices like I was. I rented the car through Do You Italy

Gli operatori sarebbero stati disposti a farlo, ma poi hanno passato la palla ad una specie di responsabile ucraino che sa solo attaccare i clienti
Vedendo altre recensioni sono soliti addebitare il lavaggio anche se non dovuto
Evitateli, riescono a non restituire soldi anche davanti a delle chiare foto, il responsabile non sa gestire e sostiene falsità per non restituire 25€
