I had a unsafe bus when i took a trip to Sault ste Marie Michigan October 2018 it was a 3 day 2 night but it end up being a 4 day 3 night because of bus issues had to spend a extra $1800 out of my pockets Lakefront Lines cost me a lot of money for all the trips i do a year i still got crappy buses

Stuck in the highland station. We were all pulled off a bus that was already an hour late to wait 45 minutes because they don’t have a driver. When several people asked how much longer the wait would be they were treated very badly by the station attendant. Sad that when you need customer service the most you are yelled and snarled at.

Went on field trip with my kids and sat near the front. Bus driver beeped at all cars in his way. Did not want to wait for kids to get on bus and in seats because he was afraid to get a ticket. Yelled at kids that was talking at normal volume. Screaming at cars. Don't take this bus get another one service and staff sucks

I was almost killed by a Coach USA driver yesterday!! I was driving with my children in the car trying to merge onto Ga 400 North when the driver ran me off the road. He proceeded to drive reclessly, even stopping on the exit ramp so I wouldn’t be able to get his license plate number. I was able to get behind him and get all his information. Watch out for these crazy drivers and stay out of their vans!!!

The buses inside were seemingly ok.
Well, they seemed to be okay on one bus...on others A/C didn't work, chairs didn't lock in place, etc.

However, the breaking down of buses on this trip for 8th graders going from Atlanta to DC was awful.

The trip up was bad, the trip back was so much worse. Buses were stranded by the side of the road for 6 hours (10pm-4am). The buses also drove so slowly that the 10-12 hour trip took 22 hours!!

Bus drivers arguing, a relief bus drove 45 minutes the WRONG WAY, adding another 1.5 hours to the already long delay. One bus had such bad exhaust, that the bus behind it had passengers getting sick.

Why can this not be better coordinated??
Obviously these buses are not well maintained, and I wonder about the training of the staff.

Never ever use this company.

Avoid this bus company at all costs.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in USA Coach, Atlanta location. The issues that happened this week while my daughter was on her 8th grade field trip to DC are totally unacceptable.
- MULTIPLE bus breakdowns on the way to DC delayed their arrival by 7 hours, and (went through 4 buses before getting there) missed their activities scheduled for that day, arriving at the hotel after 1 AM.
- Buses were late to pick up points during their stay in DC as well. Some had no AC as well.
- The ride back from DC however, was absolutely ridiculous. Only 1 hour after leaving DC 1 of the buses breaks down. This 12 hour drive turned into 22 hours!!!!
- Bus breakdown after bus breakdown, USA Coach refused to send replacement busses, mind you there were 5 buses packed with 13 & 14 year old kids on the side of the highway—- once for 6 hours!!
- At one point 2 buses just left the group and went back to DC. Then the other bus drivers that remained, started screaming and yelling at each other through the bus door, and it eventually spilled out on to the side of the busy highway, where they continued to yell/fight with each other!!
- During a tornado warning they just pulled over at a gas station and made everyone stay on the buses— really? What was the point, there was not shelter and it made them more vulnerable staying put than driving AWAY from the area!
- To top it all off they made only one stop for food in all 22 hours spent on the bus ride from HELL.

Total insanity!

Clearly USA Coach busses are not well maintained. Nor did the company demonstrate any concern for the safety of our children during this trip. This raises safety concerns for the next children that will be taking school trips. I will be following up with the Fulton Co. Board of Education to ensure that Fulton Co. Schools NEVER do business with USA Coach Atlanta again!

If you highly value your sanity, please do not hire this company. A decent bus line would refund well-paid money, but this company is obviously incapable of doing that. I’m not surprised this company was able to turn an alleged 12 hour bus ride into a 22 hour one. Unless you like it when your bus breaks down and stays in the same place for three hours—make that six—kiss this bus line goodbye. Now, please excuse me while I throw myself in a pit full of fire.

I think it’s safe to say that this bus line at least partially ruined our 8th grade Washington DC field trip. What should have been exciting and interesting has become exhausting and frustrating. This experience was memorable but in the worst possible way. On numerous occasions the quality of buses and services was well below what was needed to keep up with the carefully planned itinerary. On the very first day during the ride from Atlanta, Georgia to Washington DC, one of the five buses broke down for two hours. Everyone was forced to wait at a rest station for the company to send another bus to replace the broken one. We had originally planned to arrive in Washington DC at 8:00 PM, but we ended up arriving at 1:00 AM, 5 hours after the original plan time. The total travel time was about 17-18 hours. Because of this, we had to miss an evening tour of the city and replan the entire trip over the duration of the next two days. The original plan was well-communicated, but due to the huge amount of changes, everything was extremely confusing and rushed when the trip should have been organized. Furthermore, sometimes the buses arrived to their destinations late, causing additional chaos and delays. This was so frustrating to have to endure. On the second day, the air conditioning on another bus broke, and we had to ride in a hot and smelly bus for most of the day until it was fixed. As if this wasn’t bad enough, what happened on the way back to Atlanta was absolutely horrible compared to these other problems. Only a little over one hour on the way back, a bus broke down again. The accelerator stopped functioning properly, and the bus driver turned the whole bus off. Everyone got out because the inside of the bus became very hot. We were forced to wait outside for around an hour waiting for this problem to be fixed. We were only allowed back into the bus once it started to rain. However, this wasn’t the end to our issues. Only half an hour later, the same bus broke down again. We stopped near a hotel and waited over three hours for another bus to arrive. It was 1:00 AM by this time, and no one could sleep as we we were told we had to transfer to the other bus—including all of our luggage. But it ended up we never did change buses since someone came to fix the bus, so we spent all that time up believing that sleeping would be bad until the bus switch had been made. The bus ride from Washington DC to Atlanta totaled to 22 hours because of so many issues. This bus company is a waste of money, time, and energy that I will never get back. Sometimes it is worth the effort to spend a little more for better service. I seriously can’t believe how this business is surviving. Please make this experience better for future costumers. Based on the quality of service I’ve had, I don’t think you realize or even care about how many potentially great trips you are ruining.

USA coach practically ruin our schedule.
We bought the manhattan - woodbury ticket.
The bus then stopped after only about 15 mins departing from the bus station.
The bus stopped for over 50 minutes. The lady driver did not even informed the passengers what was going on. One by one the passenger started to ask the driver. And the answer is simply “we waited for another bus to dispatch you guys”. This is unacceptable. And we stopped in the middle of highway junction. When the second bus finally came to take us, we thought our problem are solved. But then the police started to come and asked questions to the drivers.. and now we are still here in the middle of nowhere not knowing when the bus will ever even go.. not recommended to anyone who appreciate time..

The Drivers were wonderful.
Tirp was well executed.
One thing , Please make sure the bus come to me clean and fresh, that includes the bathroom.

Coach bus service in the 31 Newark NJ that runs on South Orange Avenue is very bad dirty and the bus drivers are not customer friendly at all, thay make people late for work when they already at work, plus coach bus 31 line never on time only when the other race have to be at work, but once the other race is at work where they know no one complains, then t hey slow down. Then shows down then come in packs to cover stop from Newark Penn Station. With only one bus out of the 5 buses going down and that 1 bus picks up everyone along the line packed like roches in the black communities of newark and we probably paying more to be treated so bad.

Van Galder knows what they're doing! John is by far the best driver I have ever seen.

They were very helpful and very courteous.

I recently called the dispatch on one of the bus drivers inappropriate behavior I hope they follow up
One previously last year, November 2018 I missed my bus and waited for the next due to one bus driver telling me he was not the bus to Janeville, but when I saw him in a future trip, he apologied and gave me a no charge for my ride and I used my ticket on the next one.
Other than that, most drivers have been friendly

Buses are clean, well equipped, current with charging ports and DVD players. Comfortable.
Some drivers are excellent and very safe, very committed to ensuring the passengers are safe, comfortable. Some of the best drivers help the passengers.
Most often, buses are well maintained. My last trip we had a problem on the way home. Driver kept us safe, informed and comfortable. However, it took too long for another bus and mechanic to be sent. It should have been done in one half the wait time.

Group quote are too expensive compared to other companies. They would be better rewarding their repeat groups with better, competitive pricing.

The drivers were amazing! Always on time and very friendly. Also June at the booking office was wonderful too!
