Took my ancient Solex Carb to this company who restored it to"new" condition, now works faultlessly, well done!

Great company Ian and team very knowledgeable, my issue was with 1970 Kawasaki carbs, been playing up for years, bought a jet kit, tried to do it myself, turns out the kits don't always come with the parts you need, mine was missing two important gaskets that i didn't even know they needed, Ian has also helped me trace an issue on the inlet manifold side of the bike.

Can’t big these guys up enough..!
Being a self employed tradesman myself I’d class myself a bit of a fuss pot when it comes to finishes, and think I can pick holes in a-lot of things I look at.
During this my first custom bike build I’ve been let down a lot with expectations of what I think a good job should be from a specialist.
Honestly these boys did a first class job on my Bmw bing carbs and it was everything and more than I was hopping for.
Can’t recommend them enough and will definitely be using them again!

As I was doing a top end overhaul of my 1973 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport, Ian refurbished the VHB 30 carburetors and vapour blasted the heads and rocker covers. A really first class job completed very quickly. Once rebuilt the bike fired straight up and the carbs required little adjustment to optimise and balance. Many thanks Ian.

Ian at Coln Engineering recently re-manufactured a pair of Dellorto DHLA40H carbs for me. They were in a very sad state when I sent them to him but are As New now they have returned.
I was kept fully up to date during the cleaning and parts replacement process.

I bought a 1987 Suzuki GS450 which had been sat for a long time and wasn't starting, there didn't seem to be fuel getting to the plugs so I did some research and found Coln Engineering. Being local to me I was able to pop the carbs over for review. Ian obviously knows what he was doing and his workshop has everything needed to make a carb as new. Carbs were rebuilt using a service kit and cleaned to perfection.

Ian did a fantastic job on the SU HS8 carbs for my Jaguar XJ6. The car has never run better. They were set up absolutely spot on, and came back looking brand new. Ian gave me superb advice and feedback at all times during the refurbishment and completed the work in record time. He began work immediately I called him, and that really saved me. Great work and first class service.

I have a 1950 Silver Wraith and needed to get my carburettor refurbished. Ian was brilliant helping identify the correct model and sourcing the parts from the serial number, and was even able to accommodate booking in a date when I would send it to him to keep the car off the road for a little as possible. The refurbished Stromberg came back looking like new and perfectly set up. I bolted it on and it runs like a dream. Can't recommend Ian enough. 6 Gold Star Rating.

I have had two separate sets of work carried out by Coln Blast Cleaning.
The first a Holley carburettor and an Offenhauser manifold of a Rover engine fitted to GT40. The work is exemplary, the cleaning, service and set up is perfect, the new finish on the large inlet manifold is spot on.
The second piece of work was refurbishing a Weber carburettor and manifold for a Ford Pinto engine, the carb was in a sorry state including a bent throttle spindle, the carburettor was rebuilt and set perfectly, the manifold l can only say looks better than new.
Ian has a very solid work ethic and keeps you fully informed on the specialist work he carries out.

I took the carburettor off my French Hotchkiss jeep (1958 vintage), to Ian for cleaning after obtaining Colnblastcleaning's information off the net.
I found Ian to be friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable on the different techniques that could be used to clean the very dirty carb.
