Applied for a 5k loan to consolidate 3…
Applied for a 5k loan to consolidate 3 loans and 3 credit cards. Planned to pay off credit cards and close the accounts. I provided details of the 6 things i wanted to pay off total 290 pound roughly i pay monthly for the loans and credit cards at the moment. But i got rejected. Common sense tells me if the 5k loan is less than 290 pound per month i can afford to makre repayments as i am already paying 290 pound 😅😅 like what. They got my wage wrong and took the most recent lower wage rather than the average i had a couple days off work unpaid so wage is going to be lower. They then added all my debts together with commsave added sland divided it by my wage. Like why 😅 6 of them debts would be gone soon as the 5k hit my bank and my debt would instantly be lower. Its pointless adding my other debts on with other creditors that arent the ones im planning to pay off. Concentrate on the debts i told you im going to pay off which in turn will make me better off. Ill be closing my account and wont bother applying again. I dont need to be told how to be financially responsible. I get you have a job to make sure you arent lending to irresponsible people but you will of seen all my payments to my creditors are paid on time. Means im managing i just wanted a better deal for it all.

Please be reassured that supporting our members through financial difficulty is very important to us. We make our decisions to ensure the loan will positively impact our members, both now and in the future.
Unfortunately, at this time further lending was not responsible, leading Commsave to rejecting your application.
A better application for you would be our consolidation loan. Fair and affordable, with an APR of 13.8% to all members paying via payroll deduction. If approved, the funds are sent directly to the creditors.
We appreciate that communication during these situations can feel overwhelming.
Please be assured that correspondence is issued in line with regulatory requirements and is not intended to cause unnecessary stress.
If you would like us to review your situation again, we would welcome the opportunity to have another conversation and explore what options may now be available to better support you.
I would like to highlight that all applications are at our loan officers discretion. While we can offer suggestions and advise what loan products you are eligible for, all loan applications are subject to further checks and are not guaranteed.

Great saving experience
