Coppa Club Reviews 

I had a booking for the Coppa Club and then received an email saying it was released. Phoned back to rebook but they said someone else had taken the booking and didn't offer me an alternative. Says something when you can't get a booking system right.

Thanks for ruining my weekend and if I could give a 0 star review, I would.

Why the reduction, not only in menu options, but also service since Covid? Arrogant serving staff, insipid food, cold toast and butter. Warm tea. All in all so disappointing we won’t visit again. Not the way to entice clientele back......

Pretty poor to be honest.
I went to the Henley one which I believe is newly opened. I went for lunch for my friends birthday, with 6 of us.
The food was absolutely tasteless, I couldn’t believe how bad it tasted. And I didn’t have anything complicated (bruschetta and carbonara) both was appalling!
It was so bad that they ended up taking 3 of our meals off, we still had to pay £20 each!
Don’t bother if you ask me.

In a similar vein to many of the other reviews, the service was terrible. Breakfast options were limited and the coffee machine was broken. There was no alternative option for coffee as they had run out of cafetieres. I don’t like that the restaurant was dog friendly. I don’t chose to have a dog so I don’t expect to eat my breakfast next to a table with a yapping dog!

Disappointed- a friend waited online for hours to book a table for my birthday when the London restaurant opened the igloos up for booking. It was booked for April and we were thrilled. Obviously, due to Covid-19 this booking was cancelled and we heard nothing more until today. She has received an email to confirm she will have priority booking, which we were so pleased with, but now there is a minimum spend on the igloo of £240 (to be paid up front then deducted from the bill) where there was previously no minimum spend. Only 4 of us were attending and it is a 2 slot.
I understand that the current situation has been difficult for businesses but it has been a difficult time for everyone and to put these sort of restrictions in place on top of a 12.5% service charge is both disappointing and exploitative. These are strange times and in feel this is not a customer friendly approach.

Please don’t bother. Booked an igloo in London as a treat and it’s diabolical. Dirty and cold. Staff serve and leave door open so you freeze and food also! Worst coffee I’ve ever been given. Over rated and a waste of money. Complained and it took two weeks for a reply where they offer me apologies and a free coffee lol! I don’t live in London so it wouldn’t really be worth the trip to be disappointed again. Seriously for a view go elsewhere. Even the cafe at HMS Belfast would far out do this!!

Excellent service and great food.
After a poor experience and an immediate response from the deputy manager of the Maidenhead branch, I went with my family this evening, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Rob ensured we had a great experience. I urge you to give them another go if you have been dissapointed. The team read the reviews and want to provide a great local resturant. We will definitely return.

Been to several Coppa Clubs now - all in beautiful locations. The food is boring and the menus never change and the hot dishes are at best luke warm served on cold plates. Visited The Swan at Streatley between Christmas and New Year only to find half the menu was unavailable even bread! The 12.5% service charge that is automatically added to your bill is appalling; there is a note advising it is discretionary so why add it in the first place. It should be the customers decision on how much they wish to pay without feeling awkward asking to have it removed.

The food standard is inconsistent and the bill will include a 12.5% “optional” service charge. This is true at all Coppa Club restaurants and is totally out of place in a restaurant outside of London. When I asked to pay 10% service I was told this wasn’t possible. I was then left with the awkward decision not to leave any service. Which I would have preferred not to do. Especially as I felt I (and other customers) was being emotionally blackmailed into giving 12.5% service for average food and service.

Great London branch! Love the igloos overlooking the river

We visited the Sonning branch for easter bank holiday weekend. It was hard enough to get a booking as we wanted to sit in the igloos outside, which were pretty much fully booked until end of May. They refused to take this booking over the phone. We arrived and no one greeted us. The igloos were all empty except for one and a party just leaving another (so much for fully booked!) Orders were taken after a long wait and drinks were not served until 2 minutes before the food, so it was a long wait before we even got our first drink. The next round of drinks were forgotten about completely, and we had to re order. They forgot one drink from this round. We had to keep calling the staff over as they did not come over themselves. Pudding orders were also completley forgotten about. I complained about the shambles of a service to which the wiater (i assume was a manager or supervisor) filled me with excuses and was very patronising. I understand it was bank holiday and busy but they had expected a fully booked igloo area (which it was not) so you would assume they would have been much more prepared for a busy afternoon! Overall felt ignored throughout!

Good venue, value & staff at Maidenhead.....but they need to either clean the floor rugs in the bar area which are filthy or remove them.
This is really off putting....easy & quick to fix.

My goodness, what a horrible experience. Terrible rude service and upon complaint, i got eyerolls and my Japanese guests were embarrassed by the waitstaff. I still havent had a reply to my written complaint in 10 days. They dont care. Don't go. Go elsewhere. Amateurs

The Tower bridge venue is beautiful and always extremely busy. The menu is good and well priced.
Unfortunately, the popularity of this venue affords the restaurant the ability to produce poor food and terrible service.
We have been a number of times, every time service has been incredibly slow and quite abrupt. Food is served inconsistently- the same dishes arrive with different bread for example or at different times.
Serving times are very lengthy and food is often served cold.
We’ve been served drinks we haven’t ordered on two visits, waiters merely throw them down and run away before you can speak.
The worst visit has to be when a dish was served with a thick, curly, long, black hair on top. It was immediately pointed out to our server (as it was so blatantly obvious) who wasn’t in the slightest bit apologetic, in fact he seemed annoyed we had the audacity to complain. When the replacement was eventually served it was cold and we weren’t confident it was a fresh replacement. Obviously our last visit to this particular venue.
