Very helpful and efficient staff. It made choosing our new sofa stress free.

From all the staff in the Harpenden store to delivery team (Garvin and his team) and customer service (Kayne) we have received an exemplary service. I cannot praise them enough for going above and beyond to ensure we were happy with all the processes. We are thrilled with our purchases which have received lots of admiring comments from friends and family.

Great support in customer services and the showroom. Unfortunately my two seater Talbot came with seat cushions which didn't fit. Also, the front of the seat pad was not holding its shape and sloped down. I felt I was slipping off! There was a large gap between the two seat cushions and one was stitched incorrectly. They sent out a firm who agreed with my issue. I was sent two new cushion covers but only one seat cushion/inner pad which was so large and much higher than the original seat pads it didn't fit.

I've asked for a refund and the sofa has been collected. Customer services have contacted me and I'm about to receive the refund hopefully today.

I can't praise the staff enough, excellent and professional throughout. Such a shame the quality falls far short of expectations.

We came instore to get some ideas, having already looked online and seen some things we loved the look of.
Whilst instore we spoke to Nancy who answered my many questions very patiently. She understood what we were looking for and made suggestions which we hadn’t thought of.
Once we were ready to make a purchase Nancy explained the delivery process and all the other information very clearly.
We felt like valued customers and are so pleased with our order.
Nancy is a real credit to the store.

The store in Harpenden is beautifully laid out and welcoming. Charlotte was friendly, professional and approachable and did a great job of answering all of our questions. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend coming here.

The showroom is lovely, inviting, thoughtfully laid out to maximize products whilst not being cluttered, and the staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant.

Having viewed a Chester Large Dresser online, it was extremely helpful to be able to visit the Harpenden showroom and see the actual item. I am so pleased that I did as I was able to see the actual quality of the product. Although when online I had the measurements of the dresser it was so much more helpful to be able to see it for real with items in it as I was concerned as to how tall glasses could be that I wanted to place in the glass cabinet. To see actual glasses in the cabinet I was able to see that it was thankfully larger than I imagining which was so good. Whilst pictures online are helpful it is never the same as seeing an item for real. Sarupa was extremely helpful and informative but not pushy. Showed us other options and discussed colours. We placed an order there and then which was extremely simply. We took home paint sample cards and were able to then ring the store back and add a further item to our order over the phone.
I am really pleased to be able to visit a showroom locally as online pictures do not always give you a true perspective of size.

All the staff we met were very friendly & helpful, the order process was painless, all in all a pleasant experience.

Everyone needs to hear this! The customer service is exceptional. So helpful and thoroughly recommend the shop, staff and especially Theo. Genuinely eager to help.

I love the shop but found the the assistant I delt with unhelpful to the of rudeness my daughter and myself wanted to buy the the green table mats unfortunately the only green ones left were the display ones we politely asked the assistant if we could purchase the display ones. Instead of the assistant saying I’m sorry they are not for sale she rather GRUFFLY said NO end of conversation. Had my daughter and myself not purchased something prior to this we would have walked out.

Ordered sofa for pre-Christmas delivery … and it arrived on time. The delivery men, Dan and Gary, were brilliant - moving to the correct room and setting things up perfectly.

I would definitely use The Cotswold Company again.

Every time I go into the shop I am always acknowledged with a friendly greeting but not pounced on which is good.
The staff are alway very helpful and show me samples of the different wood types that I like to look at in person. It’s very hard to tell from just looking online.

I have purchased three large items all ordered through the Harpenden shop and each time this has gone smoothly and efficiently from placing the order to delivery. I am very impressed with the whole system and the quality of all the goods I purchased.
So please give a shout to the staff in Harpenden and the delivery staff. I purchased a king size bed (Inglesham) a table and chairs (Chester) and a sideboard (Old Rustic).
