Great friendly front staff. Fast Service. Full transmission rebuild (not just replace) in 4 days. Vehicle was ready when promised. Work was first class. Undercar inspection revealed everything back to factory standards. Transmission performance is excellent. Only time will tell durability. But with 2 year warranty and current performance not worried about durability. Technician was very knowledgeable about my old 700R4.

Wow ! What an experience they were knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. The Engine was done fairly quickly. My transmission was shuttering they fix that also thanks Dan and crew !!!

I had to return for a transmission leak. The transmission was still under the warranty. Cottmam replaced the defective part and sent me on my way. I was very pleased with the speed in which it was repaired and the professionalism of the personnel.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Tony and staff are so friendly, honest and fair! I wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else! Deff recommend them! They treat you like family! Love their dog Chewy too that gets to hangout at the shop sometimes! Just all around a great place!

The Manager & Owner worked with you and explained to you about your problems. They committed to standing behind their work and if any issues occur within the warranty period they will honor and fix the problem/s. His goal is for you not to come back. Had mine worked on and person didn’t honor their issues blaming it on something else, spent $3000 still not fixed.

They kept me informed of the status of my vehicle, explained all of my options for the repairs needed, and gave me up-front pricing. They were friendly and fair. I would not hesitate to take my vehicle back to them and would recommend them to any of my family or friends.

A+++++ 5-STARS. Most excellent functional and technical service performed by Cottman of Columbia with Messrs Daniel C. Jones and Tony Foy. Major front cradle replacement (due to accident.)..just to get to the leaky transmission. Now...the result is Caddy that rides like new...and cleaned with no leakes.

I would recommend this shop 1000 times. I called at least 8 others shops. Cottman offered better prices and warranties than any of them. Their customer service and professionalism were great as well.

My truck has visited Cottman Multiple times for different things needing work. Each time I dropped it off, they did their best to troubleshoot the problems occurring. When they informed me of the problems, they never pressured me to do pay for anything that wasn’t necessary at the time. I left aware of not only what was causing the mechanical trouble from my descriptions I gave them, but also issues I was not aware of! The biggest issue was my transmission going out and they gave updates a long the way of when it was going to be rebuilt as well as what price range we were looking at. Nothing was a surprise when I came to pick my truck up. Overall great service and great people!

Had a rebuild on our Acura MDX transmission due to slipping. Also had 2 catalytic converters replaced and a seat belt buckle replaced due to an airbag light. We have had the car back for about 2 weeks now with no leaks, lights or issues. The work was done quickly, 4 days, and the price was very fair. I am an Air Force reservist and they gave me a military discount on the labor (about $100.00) which I really appreciated. All the people we dealt with were very courteous and gave straight answers to my questions. I highly recommend this shop!!
