My experience with Cottman was classic "Under Promise and Over Deliver." The check-in when I dropped of my truck was quick and easy, and pick-up at completion was exactly the same. Repairs are never cheap, but if they are done right the first time, it eases the pain just a little.

Kevin was very honest, did a great job explaining what the job needed. They even got the job done ahead of what we were expecting the job to be done. We would highly recommend any of your car repairs to go here.

After diagnosing no issues to pulleys or systems, which still appears true, Cottman replaced a serpentine belt. Within one hour of use it was slipping and squealing upon even slight acceleration without the air conditioning or defrost turned on. I retensioned the belt myself and all has been good in 30+ hours driving since then. One could clearly see the position of the prior original factory (new belt) tightening point on the alternator swing bracket and Cottman had fastened 1/2"+ less from that. After correctly finishing the job, it was apparent that the new belt is the same size as the original belt, as the alt swing was positioned back to very near the original factory mark. About 1/8" from the original factory new belt tightening. With my tools/leverage, the best I could do. Kevin was nicely accommodating, communicated well, and completed the previously unscheduled work the same day.

Kevin is great. I’ve used Cottman on Wornall twice for complete replacement of transmission on two vehicles. Good warranty, and service was fast to get me back in the road!

Took my car with a completely shot transmission and they rebuilt it back to brand new basically! Did an awesome job and in a timely manner as well! I would definitely recommend them for sure!

Dishonest. Tried to more than double the price.i found a more reputable company to do the repairs for the original bid. Repairs made. Truck running perfectly. Used parts? No. They putall new parts into the transfer case. The transmission was fine. They changed the filter and filled up the fluid. This is where you said the transmission had to be rebuilt or new. Which didn't need to be done at all. This is where you decided to try and pull one over on someone who you thought was ignorant.

So far so good have not driven the car all that much but can tell a difference in the way it shifts and no more rolling back on and incline. It is much smoother and no more jerking when leaving from a dead stop thus far. Need to drive a little more to make sure all is well. Happy with the staff members at the shop.

I BROUGHT THE CAR IN THINKING I HAD A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM. AFTER THE DIAGNOSTIC TESTING IT WAS DETERMINED THE TRANSMISSION WAS OKAY AND THE PROBLEM WAS A MOTOR MOUNT. I FULLY EXPECTED TO BE CHARGED A DIAGNOSTIC FEE BUT WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO CHARGE!!
