My beautiful dog Daisy passed away last week. Today we recieved her ashes back well packaged with a lovely card too. The only gripe I have is on the CPC website a paw print moulding kit is sold and when I asked if they could take a paw print from her, they refused, said it is against health and safety to take a paw print from a dead animal. I just don't think it's fair that this is advertised on a pet crematorium website if they are not willing to take a paw print, its not like they are dealing with living animals and its unfair to heartbroken owners

They made the whole experience less painful
After reading the reviews I was worried that my vets were using CPC. However after speaking to the cremation team all my fears were put to rest. I spoke with a wonderful lady who was very kind and answered all my questions with patience.
The sleeping cat urn I chose arrived back with me in a very short time and was wonderful and packaged incredibly well - it included a lovely little card from CPC.
I feel some of the reviews on here are quite unfair as the anger is at the vet practice and not CPC as the one negative I had with the whole experience was the choices I was given by my vets as it was the lady at CPC I spoke to who told me about the choices of caskets and urns so that was something the vets could change, but had I not have called them I wouldn’t have known I had a large selection, so I think some of the reviews about urns and caskets are unfair.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending CPC to my friends/family

I lost my beautiful boy Frank 18/08/21, CPC collected him from my vets where he still is. I rang twice, 1 lady was extremely heartless, calling my boy "it". The 2nd time the lady was polite but couldn't tell me when I will get my boy back home where he belongs, I asked if I could personally pickup my boy, and was told no, he has to go back to your vets, I really don't understand this. I just want my boy back and have no idea when this will be. Sent 2 emails to which neither have been responded to, breaking my heart that he's not back home yet

Heartfelt experience
Recently had to use this service after our beloved cat of 16 years passed away. Ashes were promptly returned to our vets in a lovely casket of our choice (sleeping cat), with a memorial card and the casket packaged inside an ornate box with his name imprinted on - which was a lovely touch. No problems at all & would definitely recommend this company after using their Livingston site. I felt my dear cat was treated with dignity, which is just what is required at such a time. Thank you for helping to bring us some much needed comfort.

AVOID! They are not what or who they used to be.
I am so devastated of my experiance today with CPC.
What was once such a personal professional caring & understanding company have become completely the opposite😔.
For almost 30 years I have taken all my dogs to this pet cemetery where I & my dog has been treated with respect, compassion & dignity .
Today was not the case .
On arrival with my girl after she was put to sleep this morning, when I got to the reception & rang the bell, I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come out to me .
With my girl in my arms I noticed another lady sobbing alone (understandably).
Someone finally appeared in front of me,a women who was dressed like she had been at home doing her housework who called out my dogs name.
I said “yes that’s us” .
I was expecting her to take me through to the usual private room to hand my dog over privately & have those last few heart breaking moments of the “final goodbye”
This didn’t happen , the women just held her arms out & said “ok I’ll take her now”
Shocked I said “what right now here ??”
To which she replied completely cold without an ounce of compassion or empathy ..
“Yes & I’ll take her & put her somewhere until she gets cremated “
Shocked ,I burst into tears & told her “I can’t just hand her over just like that !”
I then ran out of the reception room back into the car park in tears with my dog .
I felt hurt & embarrassed as all this happened infront of the other upset lady that I then discovered had just driven 3.5hours to collect her dogs ashes & been told they had lost them !
Everything in my gut told me not to leave my girl here as this is the service I am seeing with my own eyes so what is happening to the service I don’t see??!
From the car park I managed to make a call to another pet crematorium & got in the car & headed straight there .
I have to say where I ended up taking her were wonderfully compassionate & sympathetic to me in my final moments with my girl & I feel I have left her in safe caring compassionate hands .
I have since learned this afternoon that the cpc have been bought out by share holders & this is the result of their lack of professionalism !
Before I left the cpc I went back in to the lady & told her I would not be leaving my dog with her & that I expect a full refund on my card, to which she replied “well I don’t know how to do refunds so it will get done in a couple of days when someone who knows how to do it is here.”
No mention of “I’m very sorry you feel that way ,may I ask why? or if there is anything I can do to make you feel better about leaving your pet with us?”
She couldn’t have cared less!!
In this past hour I have since heard endless bad experiences about this company over the past 18 months since change of ownership .
Avoid them at all costs !
I will NEVER let this be my loved ones final place of goodbye again !
What was already an awful day was made a whole lot worse due to their lack of thought & compassion !

Sadly my Daughters cat Fluffy was put…
Sadly my Daughters cat Fluffy was put sleep on Monday 9 August 2021.
He was sent to CPC near Royston.
Arranged to visit him and watch the cremation on Thursday 12 August.
Dealt with Ruben who was simply brilliant.
From entering the building to seeing that days services with Fluffys name on the screen was a lovely touch. Also as he was given a seperate cremation Ruben gave me a folder with a personalised front page in it. Lovely poems inside and yet another lovely touch.
Fluffy was brought into one of the suites and I was left for about 15 minutes and Ruben even took a paw print for me, which was put onto a card. Another lovely touch.
Watching Fluffy being placed into the cremator was obviously sad, but am glad I viewed it.
There is also a book of remembrance there which I added some words.
I returned around 3 hours later to pick him up, and was so pleased with the wooden box with Fluffys name engraved on it.
Spoke with a lovely lady called Amanda when I left.
I personally could not fault the attention to detail and Ruben was so caring and attentive even to the point of stroking Fluffy.
I left there with Fluffs, and am glad that I took him there for his final journey.

My boy died suddenly and was with Willows vets. I was not offered cremation ( vets fault)
I am not happy with the casket my boy has been returned in I could of made it myself!
The name on it is not what we asked for and whilst putting the name tag on it was clearly chipped.
This may be acceptable to some people but my boy was part of my family and special to us x the casket and blatant disregard is awful I’m still in shock my young boy died …. An this is beyond words … you wouldn’t do it to a human !

Absolutely Shocking!
Absolutely, disgusting service. My dog passed on a Sunday and as they were not open(don't let your dog pass on a Sunday) I had to ring the vet back to say, whoops not open. So vet was like ok "we will keep her in cold storage" NICE. Anyway, they eventually picked her up Monday which ok, you have got her now. My complaint here is, not only did they let me down in this area but I pre-paid for my dogs cremation back in 2018 because I knew it would be tough when the end came and I could be organised. So firstly I paid £75.00 to attend her cremation, due to Covid I could not attend - understandable. Please refund - they did £65.00. Let it lie because I understand things are tough. So, my complaint here is not only what I have already said but then I got a letter from them about 6 weeks ago saying we have changed our bank details, please update your records - not really sure why I got this, but again let it lie. Spoke to someone there, received an apology saying, it must be generic, so we will remove your details......Ok thank you. I understand things are tough. Until I received another letter today. How insensitive? You horrible people.

I was very very very worried AFTER I sent over my money for my dog to be cremated. I read the reviews stupidly after and I hadn’t be able to settle since with worry I was going to recieve someone else’s pet ect. I was so worried.
When I made the call the lady was helpful and it was quick and easy, worked out perfect as I didn’t like talking about it. I was on the phone for no more that 2 mins!
Within under 2 weeks I had finally received my loving dog. Correct name and it was very heavy so that put my mind at ease as he was an extra large dog!
I personally couldn’t fault this company. I will always be sceptical over cremations because let’s face it you just don’t really know if they are cremating the animals alone or in bulk (to save money) you can get this with ANY company. As you will never be able to see the cremation first hand you’ll never really know unfortunately.
But I’m personally very pleased with the company and service I’ve got from CPC. My opened door of sadness has now finally been shut and my dog is back in the family home where he will stay.

Great service
I recently lost my beloved dog Sadie. The care and compassion shown to me by cpc was second to none. There was no rush and they talked me through my options. I then received her ashes back in a beautiful casket on the day they said I would.

Really easy process at a difficult time
We lost our beloved dog recently and the vet asked us what cremation we wanted.
Delighted and moved this evening when we got our Molly back in a lovely casket with a name plaque.
The real surprise was the Sympathy card confirming the date of her individual cremation, it made me cry! What a lovely thought and the card will be treasured.

It’s sad that there is no way to remove all the stars. What a shocking, insensitive company. I wouldn’t recommend them. I’ve written a review before, but it is no longer visible. Having said that , there’s so many bad reviews, I may be just missing seeing it .
My daughters dog was cremated by this company. They sent her ashes back to us in the wrong box, they then sent the correct casket, and a polythene bag , this was for us to transfer her ourselves. After having Lola for over 11 years , you can only imagine the stress this caused. Terrible company

Wonderful service.
Our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Bella passed away recently. We used the services of this great company to have her cremated. Bella was returned to us this morning in a lovely wooden casket with her name etched into a brass plate on the top. There was also a very thoughtful sympathy card included which confirmed the date of her individual cremation.
The service we received was absolutely first class and we would recommend CPCCARES without any reservations. Thank you so much for your care and sympathy at this sad time. Lee and Jen Hopkins.

We lost our boxer Harry unexpectedly
We lost our boxer Harry unexpectedly. CPC were suggested to us by our vet. They promised Harry would be looked after.
Harry came home yesterday, where he belongs in a lovely casket, card and had been looked after like one of their own.

Toby was in good hands
We sadly lost our beloved spaniel Toby and we rang and spoke with CPC and they were absolutely lovely. They couldn't have done more for us, gave us all the options and I felt that our baby was in safe hands. We received our boy back in a beautiful casket exactly when they said we would. Absolute abhorrent company.
Absolute abhorrent company.
Phoned them on Friday as our baby had suddenly past away, asked if they were able to get her paw prints and we were told no. So we then decided and informed them that we were going with a different company who could get her paw prints for our tattoos.
Four days later and having paid and arranged everything with our chosen company, we discovered that our little girl had already been collected and cremated by these heartless people and we are still expected to pay them for the privilege of a service that we didn't authorize.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
We are still waiting for a manager to call us back and they still don't have our address to send her ashes.
If they scatter her after we have requested they don't (Amanda took this call of us today) we will be taking legal advice
Just to say a big thank you for everything you have done for our dog vinny and us.
Just to say a big thank you for making this sad time so much easier. We lost our adored dog Vinny and now he is home with us, service, card and casket made this time bearable. Excellent service and compassion.
