If you need to post anything for any reason, don't bother. Without any rhyme or reason they will ban the most trivial things. No one to reach out to for answers. Posted an ad looking for an artist to help on a project locally, and the posting was removed before it even went live. Posted in the exact zip code that I reside in, verified by email and phone, and had my posting banished for no reason as I wasn't violating any of the TOS. Seeing all the other one star reviews, I see that I'm not alone.

I have had good experiences with Craigslist but learned the hard way that they enable con artists to post ads. I hired a contractor and he ripped me off and I was injured due to his negligence. I have asked Craigslist to investigate and prevent this person from placing ads and I am ignored. Craigslist condones and enables criminal activity and consumers are at risk for injury. There are no safeguards for consumers and bad actors are allowed to use the platform to scam people. Update: the contractor is using a fake license number. Craigslist has been notified but no doubt will continue to let him defraud consumers. I have reported him and look forward to suing him and pressing charges to the fullest extent possible. Craigslist is 100% complicit!

Ran a very detailed auto for sale ad and paid for a month and NOT a single offer! Craigslist is a waste of money; seems no one looks there anymore. I used and sold it for FREE on Market Place and car sold in a matter of weeks!

I discovered if you don't want someone to be successful with the post that all you have to do is flag it and Craigslist will automatically take it down. This loophole is a cause of a lot of corruption. I don't know anybody that wants more corruption does anybody else?

They could start by answering the emails would be nice.

Anyone out of the 10 that I sent. Is your intention to let corrupted people get away with that?
Probably the same people that are going to be bitching soon because it's on their doorstep.

I tried ot post an item for sale , It quipmentl to smoke weed from safely It was ok in November of 2024 but now it isn't , and they removed the 2024 posting That is censoring in my opinion They removed it , when I recently tired to report it

This site sucks.it picks and chooses what and who posts.i been red flags for the same thing other people posts.but they don't get flagged.this site is bogus.

My post was posted in wrong area. Charged my card but will not help me. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Craigslist absolutely sucks now. It used to be a good site but their bots or employees delete your posts if you post in other cities. I have some extremely unique material that is hard to come by in the US so for the wider audience I post it in other markets and those are constantly getting removed.

There is a reason everyone is going over to Market Place! I get far less than half of the responses I used to get on Craigslist....It's dying a slow death.

I have been a Craigslist consumer for many years. Craigslist can be helpful and provide you with information. But now that I am 39 and looking for a job I am facing discrimination. Craigslist posted an ad today for a job in Brooklyn 08/17 in all black and in all capital letters letting me know they despise black people.

It takes one or a handful of bad people to ruin everything for all. This used to be such a fantastic website, I made good friends in it, join activities, applied or posted jobs, etc; it was simple, free, easy and the best part, world wide for those who are world travellers, sometimes i enjoy reading people's rants or the session where creative people would post brilliant thoughts, letters, there was sessions to fulfill any wants and desires, so unique as a website! Now, due to so many restrictions after a psycho stained the website with his evil actions or those who'd go too far on their perversions & scams, it's not the same and it's now dead. Very sad to see such amazing platforms like this perish over time because of some bad weed. Crigslist deserves recognition for how useful it was back in the days.

I have used Craigslist for years to advertise rental properties. Recently, I posted and ad but Craigslist kept removing it, no explanation, and no support to contact. I am not sure why the ad was removed. Maybe other landlords flagged it to reduce competition. I guess Craigslist is dead.

Totally worthless site anymore. Has not been updated for years! I had around 10 items listed, not one response in over a month. They need to shut it down.

Your site used to be good 10-15 years ago. Now everytime you post something, no matter how trivial, it gets rejected. I've tried multiple posts and it can be the simplest most innocent subject, and it gets removed before it even gets posted. I'm moving on after years of using your site.

Craigslist should be investigated by the government. They take your money put your account on hold for no reason. No customer support. You can’t even close your own account. I will be reporting them to my attorney general.

Craigslist is the worst.. trying to edit my post for my lost bird and it is asking for a phone verification; which is not working..... Why use it when it doesn't work and doesn't allow you to edit your post. I used the email verification before and that does not work either...... It is not sending the notification to my email. I NEED TO UPDATE MY POST; TO ASK FOR CONFIRM ON MY BIRD

If I could give them zero Stars I would. This is the first time I have used them and it will be the last time that I will ever use them. I have been trying to sell my Irish Wolfhound Dane puppies. For whatever reason it keeps flagging me even though everything I have written has been like other people's posts and even though it has all the requirements and it's not violating any terms it continually gets flagged repetitively. It is a horrible system with no checks and balances. Not to mention any person can flag the post which is ridiculous because if you don't like someone you can continually flag that person.

Great, just great, I bought the key to the city of Flint, Michigan for only 250USD, granted I had to get it sent through UPS, but a great experience, until I didn't get it, WHAT A SCAM, CRAIGSLIST EMPLOYEES SAID THAT THEY WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT

I posted an ad in room/shares.
I'm assuming it's because of someone I may have rejected, that stole my information as their own and posted an ad. And they may have been flagging my ad, so I was not able to get timely responses.
My ad was completely legitimate and craigslist kept taking it down, and my stolen information from someone else is still there after several complaints about their information being stolen from me.

Craigslist has gone done hill for a while now . Used to be able to find side gigs . Now the site is plauged by scammers Don't waist your time on the site
