I HIGHLY recommend CrossTech Electrical to anyone. These people have the patience of an angel - I was difficult customer that had to rebook it 3 times, but they still gave me the perfect service.

Engineer that was installing the charger was super nice, explained everything and did such a wonderful job setting all up!

If you ever need EV charger installation or any works on it - go for the CrossTech Electrical - my highest recommendation.

I’m writing this review to share a serious safety concern I experienced with this company and to warn others considering their services.
They installed an EV charging unit at my home a 4 years ago (The first installation only worked a few days, and they had to come back to fix it). Recently, I found the charger was not working, so I asked two independent electricians inspected it and found that the electrical box inside the unit had burnt. Both confirmed that multiple internal wires were loose, posing a major safety hazard. One even noted how fortunate we were to catch it before it caused serious damage.
What’s especially alarming is that the original installation inspection note clearly stated the next inspection wasn’t due until January 2026, so this cannot be dismissed as typical wear and tear. This points to a fault in either the installation or the unit itself — and possibly both.
At first, the company seemed cooperative — they asked for reports, photos, and engineer feedback over several rounds, which I provided in full. However, once the evidence clearly pointed toward an installation issue, they completely changed their stance. Rather than taking responsibility, they shifted the blame to the manufacturer, despite the fact that they were the ones who sourced, installed, and signed off on the unit. They now refuse to offer any help, compensation, or even a proper inspection.
Their dismissive attitude, especially given the seriousness of the issue, is incredibly disappointing. This wasn’t just a cosmetic fault — the unit was a fire hazard. Safety should always come first, but in my experience, this company chose to protect themselves over doing what’s right for their customer.
If you’re considering using this company, I urge you to think twice. Poor aftercare and zero accountability can have dangerous consequences — we were lucky this time, but others might not be.

Neither did the installer knowingly install a defective unit, nor can they be expected to inspect the internal connections of the manufacturer's unit by opening them up.

Furthermore, I do not believe there was any negligence on the installer's part.

I am afraid I cannot uphold your complaint.

You may wish to take this up with the manufacturer Garo, but we will not be taking this matter further or offering you any compensation.

The entire process with CrossTech Electrical was smooth and very professionally handled.

Nathalia was very good in arranging the install and helping me through the required steps for the install and the lead time was pretty short (~1 month) considering standard install times (can be up to 3 months). There was also some check-in calls during the process to make sure everything was all good.

When it came to install day, Paul was super quick and managed to set up an install - with approx. 20m of cable - in only a few hours from start to finish. The actual install itself was to a high standard. The cable was pinned nicely and routed exactly as I wanted it (which I wasn't sure would even be doable in the first place due to the complication of fences, walls and our garage). All holes and cutouts were well done and have a nice clean finish. All in all, the install was perfectly done.

Massive shout out to both Nathalia and Paul for their hands in this install, you can tell they know exactly what they are doing.

Outstanding installation process of 7kw home charge point in every respect. From initial contact to completion Nathalia had all questions answered and the installation by Paul was simply superb. My second time using Crosstechelectrical and I can only highly recommend them for your installation.

I couldn’t be more impressed with this company. From my initial enquiry to the day of the installation, absolutely everything has been so good. This company obviously cares about doing a great job for its customers and they don’t disappoint - the whole service, workmanship and professional attitude is admirable and massive thanks for making this such a great experience. Installation of the car charger - I had a few of my own worries about the location where the charger was going as it was so far away from my property and then Nathalia arranged a call and gave me some idea about what to expect from the charger being located there after I was happy she was very prompt in getting an installation booked in.
Crosstech Electrical has been great to deal with throughout. The installation process was super smooth and on time Paul (I am bad with names so I apologize if it is wrong) was an absolute pleasure very clean and tidy with great workmanship 100% TOP marks.

This company is very efficient and helpful. I recently had an electric car charging point fitted at home and the process was very smooth. The first phone call led to taking some photos of our electrical supply, fuses etc. and then everything was taken care of. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

From start to finish customer service could not of been better. All questions and worries were quickly dealt with and nothing was to much trouble. On the phone Nathalia is in control of everything, and on-site Paul’s steady Stoke rhythm puts you at ease and you know the job will be done professionally and very tidily. My first EV step could not of gone any better. Top marks Crosstech. A star ⭐️ service.
