Patient support and good price

I am writing to share my positive experience with Mathew Roberts. I recently called Crystal Travel for the first time with questions regarding airfare to Rome, and Mathew assisted me.
I explained several issues I was facing, and Mathew took control of the situation immediately. He understood my nervousness regarding the time constraints involved and handled the entire process with professionalism and patience. His support truly helped calm the situation.

My experience using CrystalTravel

My experience using CrystalTravel, and in particular being assisted by Michael Reese, was fantastic. I tried using my regular agent to book international tickets and they could not match advertised fares because they said those fairs were either expired or due to dynamic changes it was not available anymore - well, Michael was able to get me those rates which saved me a lot of money. Very disappointed they way the handle…

Very disappointed they way the handle the booking process. They shouldn’t be in the business. I was looking for ward to traveling, all the sudden found out that my booking wasn’t there any longer and they cannot rebook where I need to go. For that reason, I do not recommend this company , you will have disappointment

I was lied and given too many excuses, and do not refund my money.

We sincerely apologize that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We understand your disappointment and regret the inconvenience caused.

Please note that we made every attempt to reach you but unfortunately, we did not receive any response at the time. Due to the airline’s booking policy and fare rules, we were unable to hold the booking for an extended period. The reservation was automatically cancelled by the airline as the selected seats were sold out.

After we shared the cancellation confirmation, we received your request to rebook the flights; however, by then, the originally selected seats were no longer available. That said, if you are flexible with your travel dates, we would be happy to check and offer the best available options for you.

Regarding your refund, it was clearly communicated that the pre-authorized charge had been released from our end and would be reversed to your account within 2–3 business days. We would like to confirm that we are not holding any amount, as we operate with full transparency and value our customers.

We request your kind cooperation and understanding in this matter and hope to have the opportunity to assist you in the future.

good customer service

We had some difficulty booking the flight, but Grace and team were very patient and helpful trying to figure out how to make sure we are able to book the flight for our vacation this summer, and make sure that our payment was correct. I appreciate their effort and professionalism.

Crystal Travel has extra charges for business seat selection prior to checkin

While we did not like Crystal Travel charging for seat selection/schedule change for business class as advertised on Kayak (basically barbershoping), Martin in customer service was able to get us that plus some other protections for an extra $160/pp. Even with that additional charge, they were still cheaper than other travel agent companies. Even so, to get seats selected on Aer Lingus, you have to do so by phone (cannot do online unless booking directly with Aer Lingus - a 30+ minute hold). Not exactly cost effective for Aer Lingus, but it is the case even if booking under another airline for flight operated by A L.
