Always received professional and courteous service from the staff here at Cycle Street. They gave helpful advice when choosing a new bike, were efficient with communication about my order, and I was very happy with their free 6-week bike, and annual service service to check all was working well. Great shop with a range of cycles and accessories to suit many needs, and great that they will happily help attach bike locks and lights to your frame! They also managed to fit my bike in at short notice for a tyre puncture repair this week for a very reasonable price, considering they checked over the gears and oiled the chain up too. Can highly recommend this place for all your cycling needs.

Mine was not a "standard" repair job, I had software issues with my ebike app which basically locked me out of it!
The whole process of dealing with Cycle Street was easy, reassuring and completely without fuss. Neal was exceptionally helpful and very knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cycle Street for any repairs, tech issues, maintenance or if you're looking for a new bike. Great place!

Ordered a new bike last month, was kept informed by Jon as to the expected delivery. It arrived on time. When I went to collect it Neal went through everything with me, perfect handover. Highly recommend Cyclestreet to anyone. 5870

A lot of work needed on my bike, and the staff talked me through what was needed, They did the work quickly and well. Not sure I trust all the bike repair shops I've been to in York, but I trust this one to do a good job.

I’ve used Cycle Street a couple of times in the past three months and have found them to be very professional. I own an Orbea (and they are an authorised dealer), so took my shock in for service, plus a rear hub rebuild and new pivot bearings. All the work was completed to a high standard, fairly priced, and completed on time. It’s an easy shop to find and there is convenient parking next door at Asda. Thoroughly recommend. Bob

I only know how to ride a bike. Went in for some advice on a new bike. Not pushy or overly trying to sell. Listened to what I wanted/ needed. Now I have a new bike that I love. 3 week service included for free. I could not recommend more to a novice like me!

Neil was able to do it there and then, saving me a return home and then coming back later.

Hi ,i purchase a expensive bike from a shop in Sheffield (5k ),,my own city ,,,after a month i started to get the feeling something wasn't right ,,I went back to the shop I purchased it from and was told it was fine, I tried another local bike shop and was told near the same ,,,,
The following week I was working in York & in my dinner hr I popped in to the cyclestreet shop ,while I in the shop I got talking to the guy behind the counter about my bike ,,,he told me to drop it of and he would take a look at it ,,the day after when I went in he told me my frame didn't look good and would I mind if he sent it to the brands manufacturers,,of coase I said yes ,,,,the bike was gone 5 weeks and ever Friday cyclestreet would call me with a progress report,,,it turned out the bike had a twisted frame and the manufacturers offered me a brand new bike ,,,all thanks to the cyclestreet store,,I can't thank them enough and it's deffo my go to bike shop👍👍👍👍

Friendly, honest and helpful service. My creaky gears are now silent and smooth, and my worn out brakes are now safe and reliable. I will get my bike serviced more often - and maybe you should too!
