Friendly, professional and efficient - would definitely recommend. We wanted our electrics checked for safety after moving into a new (old!) flat and received our report the same day as the inspection. Darryl also provided balanced advice on where improvements could be made to the electrics in future with minimal disruption.

Our homeowner's policy required a EICR and inspection of the electrics in our home residence. Darryl at DC Electrical Services provided a very competitive quote and conducted a thorough assessment, providing very prompt feedback. His team carried through all the remediation work in a timely and comprehensive manner and we obtained our Certificate within a couple weeks of our initial contact. Professional, honest, thorough service. We will definitely use them for all future work.

Darryl got our vision right away. What a blessing, not to have a tradesman questioning what we asked for. DC Electricals rewired our 3 bed flat, added in interlinked smoke detectors, brought our fuse box into this century, added CAT6 network ports throughout, and so, so, so many extra sockets. We also had points put in for potential future electric heating, and they upgraded our wiring for a potential future induction stove. It wasn’t cheap (£10k+), but we couldn’t let them go through the parquet floors we installed ourselves, so they went through the ceiling, which is obviously more work. At least we don’t have high New Town ceilings!
We moved out for a week, they just plowed right through. Work started on time, but delays were mostly due to waiting for the plates to be delivered and the network guy’s schedule to open up. And his wife was having a baby. Can’t be helped. Whole thing, including the plasterer (separate company, was recommended by Darryl, was a great guy), took 3-4 weeks. Can’t fault the work, though! And the fully itemised quote made decisions easier to begin, and made checking invoices afterwards easier, too. Full confidence in these guys. Would recommend!

Darryl and his team did a total rewire on the 1920s flat I just purchased. They were professional, capable, communicative, and did a very clean job (photos include all the plastering work that's happening). I felt in good hands the whole time. Would recommend!

Darryl and the team saved the day when I needed an EICR report to sell my property and it failed, they managed to carry out the remedial works to bring my electrics up to code and issue a new certificate to allow the sale to go through on time. All rectified in the space of a week. Great work, great communication, would definitely recommend.

I was referred to DC Electrical (Darryl) and his firm through my kitchen installer and can not rate Darryl's firm highly enough. He has been very responsive and won't leave the job until everyone is satisfied (including himself).

There are not many tradesmen that make the effort to call (I was out of the UK) and send pictures to make sure that everything I had asked was done the way I wanted. Even when one LED spot light seemed never to work again, Darryl threw in a spare transformer for free - I can not recommend him highly enough and will use him again and again as new household renovation projects spring up!
