The Forney dollar general on highway 1641 has a smartass cashier and a piss poor manger…the store is dirty and aisle are full of so much crap you can barely get around…after having words with smart ass cashier the manger refused to do anything about it…until today I’ve been a customer since the store opened…I’ve never seen it this bad…by the quality of the helpers they hire people who can’t get a job anywhere else

The Macungie store is absolutely beyond the worst Dollar general around. The store never has anything in stock, and if you ask for help, forget it. You ask for a manager and get a big time "BAD ATTITUDE" , no way to treat customers. RUDE, and OBNOXIOUS, management and most employees. HORRIBLE STORE. STOCK THE SHELVES and LEARN HOW To TREAT CUSTOMERS with RESPECT. This store has been this way since I moved to Macungie 7 years ago, and has only gotten WORSE. What a shame, because Macungie really needs a decent small store that actually stocks shelves and knows how to treat customers like humans. 🤬🤬🤬😡😢

Not really a complaint but I just wonder why DG no longer has a dress code. I remember when they wore black polo shirts with the DG logo on them with black slacks. IMHO it seemed much more professional than the short shorts and t-shirts they wear now looking like they just rolled out of bed and came to work.
IDK call me old fashioned I guess.

We had a great employee and we had the most beautiful store with a great shopping experience. That manager left and the store is trashed, restroom disgusting. Have to wait for checkout. Shelves empty. Horrible.

This refers to corporate finances. A local manager told us about an ap which would allow a customer to receive discounted purchases.
I went online, 6/23/2026, to the service and began the application. After I completed all the information, including a credit card number, a statement said there would be -0- charge.
Then the system repeatedly said "processing", over and over, finally disconnecting the process. I assumed that it failed and that would be the end of it.
Today, June 24th. 2026 I discovered a $34.96 debit charge on my account!
I called the bank and filed a dispute for an unauthorized charge.

My wife was fired after she was forced to work 23 hrs straight doing inventory. She passed out and hit her head causing a severe concussion. Dollar general denied her FMLA. She was not cleared to return to work by (2) drs. The district manager didn’t care and fired her. These people are evil.

My purchase was $5.60 but I had a $5 bill so I was short so I asked if I could just use the rest Apple Pay instead the guy told me it was just 60 cents I didn’t have to worry about it

Why does it say “DOLLAR” general but all the products are over priced please grow some balls or a brain and fix the prices…. It isn’t a big chain store so why can’t you make the items affordable and relatable to the name? Why make a store and name it “DOLLAR” tree if it’s gonna be the same prices as a regular grocery store please make it make sense. People can barely afford anything nowadays and it even harder walking into a store you think is going to be affordable but it’s just the same. People have no heart and it’s so sad.

Stopped at the Dollar General on Hwy 421 in Bristol tn to pick up a few things. Everything I needed was there but the cashier was rude. She needs more training or moved to stocker. Her initials are AJA. This store is close to my home but I will not spend anymore money or time at that store.

I stopped in at 19 15 Stockton Hill road in Kingman Arizona went into buy a snack they always sell the chocolate bars from the school for a dollar but now they got a marked up to $2 Dollar general is starting to rip people off

always clean aisles, not cluttered and prices are cheaper than a lot of other places! Especially on their soft drinks, Coke and Pepsi. They even have fresh markets now some Dollar General’s have a gas station at the store and if you buy a gift card, you get three cents off each gallon is always easy shopping in and out no time spent. And is a FedEx drop spot too.

Employee told me both bathrooms and toilets in restroom did not flush, but didn’t have an out of order sign on them. Don’t lie bc you do not want customers to use them, honestly goes a long way Savannah. Stopped by Dollar General in Donalsonville, GA and was amazed at how clean and organized all of their products were and their restroom was clean, too. Wow! I would recommend using that store as a model store. Great job and way to go Management for leading an awesome team!

Terrible company that does not care about their customers. Consistently don’t apply coupons that you have in your app and have inappropriate priced signage on their shelves. If you want to spend way more than you’re expecting to because they don’t have things priced accordingly then shop here otherwise don’t waste your time.

Waiting period for someone to come check me out because no one was able to be found in the store. Also why do we have self checkouts installed if we’re not able to even use them?

Dollar General at 8156 Spring Hill Dr in Florida. Love the convenience. CANNOT STAND HOW MIRANDA places all of my bags on the small counter as I’m getting stuff out of my cart, rather than using the circular bag corral. There is a reason they made the bag corral, so we can unload our cart! Annoys me to the top everytime.

The white lady named ms tink would not stop following me she also kept coming up right behind me asking random questions and woudl not leave me alone even though I was just buying my groceries

I go to or have gone to two of them in Claremore ok, the one on west will Rogers Blvd and the one on Lynn riggs Blvd Claremore the manager Chris is a complete liar they give you coupons but when you try to use them says don't work for milk they sell stamps lies we don't sell stamps always trying to instigate a fight so he can cry to the cops Morgan s female is also a liar so is Kimberly who works at the one on east. will Rogers Blvd called corporate she had a accent said she doesn't under stand the employees know this that's why they don't care and bite the hand that feeds them they also like to gossip like att small town mentality that's all I'll say for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give it no stars I would. I have called their corporate office nothing. So I'm wondering why am I doing this. I live and frequently use the dg on Donald Lee Hollwell. The manager is super rude she yells at elderly customers. Myself and my 70 years old ain't went there. She (the manager) calls us up and says no receipt no cash back card only. Ok we proceed the whole time she's walking off as if we are taking to long but it was something with her card. The manager comes back from having an independent conversation makes the card work. Now here is where it gets crazy we think the card went they again no receipt I grab the bag she proceeds to yell what we doing it didn't go thru you need 4 more dollars. My aunt pulls out cash and was saying just keep the change. The manager proceeds to beat yes beat on the counter in front of a store full of people. So I threw the stuff back because at this point I don't want this you yelling and beating like we are your kids. But of course I called the corporate office nothing. Which is sad because that store is the only one for a lot of elderly people. I'm a firm believer that just because you're in the hood you don't have to be treated like a dog. Especially by the manager of an establishment. My aunt went back yesterday one of the employees had an attitude. It's sad if you don't want to work or have problems stay home. I just decided to write this review to just see if that store gets any better or hell if dollar general itself even cares. I'm not going to spend my money to be talked crazy to I will not do it. So dollar general if you see this you may need to do something..This is my second complaint and it hasn't even been a month since the last one and nothing maybe they are like the manager they don't care either

It's Saturday and it's 5 & 10 dollar off day with the coupon depending how much you spend, so Saturdays are crazy busy. With that being said I expect the line at the register, what I don't expect is the fact the help takes turns leaving the register to go outside and smoke. So when this happens they go from 2 registers down to one, meaning if you need a gallon of milk or a 12 pack of beer you might get stuck behind some 80 year old lady doing a weeks worth of shopping to get her 5 and 10 dollars off. Which is no where near as bad as when she tries to pay with a credit or debit card and has no idea at all what she is doing, and pray she didn't forget something or thought the price of something they rang up was wrong. This is wrong the whole run out smoke come back in, then again another runs out smokes and runs back in, what ever happened to customer service???? Am sorry but there are 10 people on line your first concern shouldn't be if you got enough time to go out and smoke!!!!
