Initially I was told by another agent that I wouldn’t have been able to get my 189 skills visa but DUC made it happen for me. I had no idea on the process and what was required so that was when these guys come into play. Excellent from start to finish, proficient and positive throughout, they are the best at what they do. Nothing in life comes easy but with the help of DUC they definitely made this process easier for me. I will not hesitate to continue to pass there details onto fellow employees and friends. I visited Australia on holiday last year & came back with a dream to emigrate. I had been in contact with a potential employer but neither of us knew how the process of sponsoring would move on from our chat, so I contacted DUC once I was home & got the ball rolling. From the first call Cai put my mind at ease & said this would be a possibility if I had a company willing to sponsor me. From then on Cai spoke with my employer & instructed us on everything we needed paperwork wise. He worked miracles & was always easy to reach. From started the process in June with just a dream to getting my visa in January just 6 months later. I couldn’t have done it without his help so thank you & to the DUC. I have also signed up for the relocation agent to through DUC

Jenny Baker, Doug, Wes and the team are amazing! After initially being told in 2024 by another migration agent that our only way was through sponsorship, Jenny made it happen through a skilled visa! Jenny managed our expectations perfectly from start to finish. With direct honesty and clear, informed details, we remained patient and made it to a grant! Worth every penny to have the team behind us. Everyone we dealt with replied to enquiries in a timely manner, and answered all of our many queries! We will be forever grateful to The DUC!

Highly recommend the down under centre ,we initially started all our evidence and plumbing assessment with Doug and team and ho we’re amazing and helpful before we moved onto the visa application with Patricia who gave great guidance with all our questions and from submitting our visa to getting the call was just over 4 weeks!

The 8th Jan 2026 is a day we'll never forget. The day our visas were granted, all thanks to the incredible team at DUC. Everything from handling skills assessments, down to supporting us through the application process was seamless. Their online portal is so easy to use and work through, the team all genuinely care and not to mention the access you get to their private FB group, which is filled with the largest community of like-minded people all in the same boat! They see you right the way through and even have post grant support for helping you get set up via their employment hub, relocation hub and regular in person meet ups! We can't wait to meet some of our virtual friends on the other side, that we wouldn't have met without DUC!

I would highly recommend Jenny at the Down Under Centre. Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process - we couldn't have done it in such confidence without her. Worth every penny!

Emigrating is not easy. It's especially not easy when you aren't even aware of things that you don't know. Having someone to help guide you through the process is massively helpful and reassuring. Everything about the process is explained well, you have access to their website where you can complete various modules specific to your trade/occupation in order to gain the Australian equivalent qualification (if required, depends on your visa type and so on). They help you with information on how to get the highest possible points for your application, things such as doing an English test (it gives you free additional points but isn't necessarily a requirement for all visas), you have to do the work, they guide you through it and help where needed. It's a long process, I'd have given up without the DUC. I honestly don't know how anyone could do this without an agency, it's mind bogglingly hard to navigate through on your own. The fees are done in stages, none of this "pay us it all now in one go". You pay for each part as you progress, so you can take as long or short a time as you like (within reason). The staff are friendly and helpful. There's free monthly webinars you can attend where (usually Wes, the owner) will explain it all and update any news such as states opening or anything that's changed since last month, really useful. They do free podcasts which are excellent and helpful get you through times when you're just waiting for things to happen such as getting your visa granted as well as making you aware of things you hadn't thought of or getting other peoples experiences of what they've been through to get there. They have a FB group too for the same thing, so it's very open and honest. I feel super lucky to have used them. I honestly can't recommend them enough! 11/10!

The team there is great and I want to give a shout out to Louisa, who was responsible for helping me through some of the most crucial steps, she helped me understand what was missing and she patiently explained all the requirements.

Their portal is very intuitive and the whole process follows a comprehensive path from start to finish.

Needless to say, I highly recommend DUC if you need to get a skills assessment in Australia.
