Scam scam scam 💯 scam
Scam scam scam 💯 scam, they will show the less prices to book, then once you book and drop the car back, after few weeks times they will take more money from your account due to parking or toll tickets, if you ask the details they won’t reply, I have paid twice €170 extra, till now no responds from them, I would never recommend to use them ever, I’m actually in touch with legal advisor to file a case against them

Terrible Experience and Misleading Complaint Response
Query Details: CS-3556371-02
Absolutely unacceptable experience with Drivalia in Edinburgh.
We paid more than €160 including the “Super Protection” insurance because we knew we would be travelling long distances across Scotland and wanted complete peace of mind in case anything happened. Ironically, one of the most basic things supposedly covered — tyre assistance — became a complete nightmare.
During our trip, the tyre warning light came on BEFORE the tyre eventually burst, yet the company continues to completely ignore this important detail in all of their responses.
We were approximately 200 km away from Edinburgh on an isolated road where barely any cars passed by. There were no nearby facilities, no restaurants, no bathrooms, and nowhere safe to wait.
I understand that recovery services can sometimes take time, and I was patient regarding the tow truck itself. What is unacceptable is that we waited almost 2 hours just to be informed that they could not find a tyre of the correct size for the vehicle. At that point, the only options offered were either staying overnight at a hotel and waiting until the next day for a tyre replacement, or returning with the recovery vehicle.
After this, we still had to wait approximately another 3 hours for the tow truck, resulting in nearly 5 hours stranded on an isolated road 200 km away from Edinburgh.
The company is now providing misleading information in their complaint response. Branch Manager Steve Brady claimed that recovery back to the airport branch was declined and that we did not attend the branch. This is completely false.
I personally travelled with the tow truck and accompanied the vehicle back to the airport branch around midnight. How could I simply allow a rental car under my responsibility to be taken away alone? That makes absolutely no sense.
When we finally arrived at the branch, we returned the vehicle before the end of the paid rental period, and no replacement vehicle was offered. The only thing offered to us was a taxi, which we had to pay for ourselves out of pocket.
It is also important to highlight that we paid for a 2-day rental period, yet due to this entire incident we were forced to return the vehicle on the very same day, losing almost the entire service we had already paid for, without any proper compensation, replacement vehicle, or fair resolution being offered.
To make matters worse, the Branch Manager closed my complaint case, preventing me from responding further or contesting the inaccurate statements made in their reply.
They also completely ignored the issue regarding the fuel used during the rental, as they did not even charge us for the fuel we consumed, seemingly assuming that because of this, we would simply overlook the entire incident and let all of these serious problems go unresolved.
I also have photos, screenshots, and records documenting the entire incident.
Very disappointing customer service, poor communication, lack of accountability, and no real attempt to resolve the situation fairly. I strongly advise people to avoid this company.

We reserved a car for 3 weeks and paid…
We reserved a car for 3 weeks and paid in advance Upon arriving we were requested to pay an additional £730 for insurance. Our credit card has $65,000 CDL so we declined. They would not release the car to us unless we paid. They still charged us $1100 to rent the car and did not issue a refund. Strongly do not recommend

Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs. We arrived on Saturday afternoon in Aberdeen and found this car hire company closed at 12 on Saturday??? Probably the busiest day of the week. We returned the next day and was told our booking had been cancelled and it would cost £165 to reactivate!! I’m sorry if this isn’t some sort of an undercover scam I’m a monkeys uncle
