I have used Cotswold Medicals for the last 4 medicals, from the initial telephone call right through to my medical I have always found them easy going and professional in their approach, offering multiple medical venues in the area, Cotswold were able to offer me appointment dates, times and venues to fit around my working shift schedules. Cotswold doctors are always professional and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone to the Cotswold HGV medical team.

I’m sorry for the problems you had with your medical. You are correct that we asked you twice to move your vehicle.
We have the use of two car parks and the first time you’d parked in the entrance to one of the car parks meaning that no other cars could get in or out, and after we asked you to move you drove to the other car park a few yards away and parked across the entrance, preventing cars from going in our out.
As you were an hour early for your appointment this would have caused a problem for other drivers arriving for their appointments.
My colleague did explain that you were welcome to drive inside the car park, or if you preferred you could park in the lane outside our offices. You said you were going to go “up the road”, so my colleague assumed you were going to park in the nearby layby where lorries park.
He also suggested that as you were so early you might want to get a coffee from the local Waitrose. I'm sorry you thought he was telling you to "go away and come back later" but he was just trying to make a helpful suggestion where you could get a coffee to fill your hour.
However you didn’t return for your medical and the doctor was looking for you in the car park and outside in the road.
Once the doctor realised you had gone, my colleague called you but you hung up on him.

Super-efficient driver medicals
I've been going to Cotswold Medicals for several years now for my annual truck licence medical examination. I'm a semi-retired transport journalist so naturally tend towards scepticism. Maybe that's why at first I thought this service seems too good to be true. I'm no longer sceptical. This really is a super-efficient service from exceptionally helpful, highly-professional people. On top off all this, part of the extremely attractive fee you are invited to pay goes to deserving charities. What's not to like? I'll never go anywhere else for a driver medical and I strongly recommend Cotswold Medicals to anyone else who needs one.

I cannot fault the service I received from the team at Drovers Medicals, especially Josh.
I was running late and Josh called the doctor to inform him, which allowed me to go in later.
I would highly recommend Drivers Medicals to anyone who needs a LGV Medical.

Price is reasonable and location is easy when you know where it is as I did, but it can be a little difficult for a first timer in Weston-super-Mare as the actual place, especially the entrance is not very obvious. The medical was almost on time and straight forward.
