The staff were the loveliest bunch of people I have ever met. Genuinely, I felt so so sooo welcomed and comfortable to try on whatever they had to offer. There was a great selection of very high quality dresses to try on. I rented this brown one but unfortunately couldn't attend the event I had planned on using it for - and they gave me store credit even when it wasn't due. I cannot recommend this place more. I will be using it at the next event I have without a doubt. The girls are brilliant and I couldn't recommend it more :)

Went to visit Drobey back on July 22nd, to try on dresses I had for an abroad wedding in Spain for the 21st August. I was communicating via instagram before the appointment and they couldn’t of been nicer, when I attended my appointment they were nice too. I paid €215 for a dress to rent for 12 days as I would be away for that amount of time. I loved the dress, it was in great condition and things seemed great until collection day.

On the 19th of August I went to collect the dress and it was in awful condition. When they showed me the dress was not only just worn, but frayed and in bits. I communicated this with the man and woman that were serving me and straight away I was met with ‘well you should know this it’s rented dresses they’re not all going to be good quality, this dress has been rented 4 times before you have come to collect it’
Fair enough. But what’s not okay, is that I was offered to try on new dresses (all of which were too small as they only go up to size 10’s) and all dresses were brand new tags still on and in perfect condition.

What isn’t okay is paying the same price for a dress that has been worn and torn and the same price for a dress that’s ’fresh off the shelves’

I was so excited to wear this dress but I was flying away the next morning, and did not have time to change outfits and accessories etc.

There seemed to be no understanding from staff point of view. ‘Well I can refund you if you want but you can’t take the dress’ ?? This is what I was told.

For a dress to rent that retails at €649 and you’re paying €200 to rent a dress that’s in terrible condition, you may aswell pay full price and sell it on.

At the end, I decided I just had to take it out it’s me. When I was leaving I was met with ‘sorry you feel that way, grab a free tote bag on your way out’

I’m 27 and have many weddings and friends attending events and weddings etc and after this experience I will not be recommending Drobey anymore to anyone.

I had booked two dresses for two different events over a month ago. I received an email TODAY, informing me that they have mixed up the dates for both events. The dress for the first event, a ball happening in 2 days time, they have NO dress for me and the second event graduation I am in luck they still have that dress available. It is impossible to speak to anyone by phone, just unhelpful emails. They don’t seem to care at all that they have left me with NO dress for my event and no offer of any type of solution . Customers should be made aware of this. Dress hire company managing to mess up not one but two dates. I am just distraught as trying to figure out what I am going to do. I am flying back to Ireland especially for this event and I now have no dress.
