Claimed a reward in JUNE that didn't work, I have posted on HelloPeter and received a reply from DSTV that they would respond "shortly". This was 2 months ago and I am still waiting! It's not just that their "rewards" program appears to be a complete deception and swindle in order to boost their membership with fallacious claims, but their level of customer service in responding and trying to keep loyal customers as members is absolutely non-existent. Their rewards program is obviously a con.

I bought DSTV streaming to watch the Olympics. As much of the broad casting live. I did not pay that huge amount to listen to random commentators, whose microphones don't work, talk nonsense. Show me the athletics.

The layout and control of the live TV streaming is absolutely user UNfriendly! It was much better a few weeks ago. WHY was it changed!!???

DSTv streaming is the worst. The app hangs, or the quality of the video is so poor or it just kicks you out. Been going on for months. This doesn’t happen with other streaming services at all. Complete and utter waste of money.
Will have to put the decoder back otherwise we can’t watch live sport properly and enjoy. We missed Women’s and Mens 100m Olympic finals because of this useless app.

Was watching the CC game Bulls vs Cheetas. A real nailbiter. Really wanted to see the post-match interviews, but what do we get? Straight to Olympics hockey match between Fance and Japan. Absolutely NO ONE who was watching the rugby had even the faintest of interest in watching hockey. Who are the ignoramuses making these decisions? Do you even try understand demographics of your audience??? Or is it just arbitrary? Most things on DSTV seems to be. Btw, according to the "schedule" there was still 13 minutes left for the rugby match broadcast.

This awful company spam calls from multiple different bots and I've never even bought DStv or cared for it. Stop bothering me.

the problem with DSTV is that price goes up and you have all the same stuff playing over. you should just create different packages. just create a movie package, and a separate package for sport. you will attract more customers for different packages. your revenue is more at sport, so when you have this you will get customers. you aim is the same as all problems in South Africa, when you do good in revenue you push up prices. so look at you financials now and way back then you loosing more and more customers by the day. stop the bleeding by dropping your price and changing
your strategy.

One of the worst internet ever my parents are paying R2000 ever month but the Wi-Fi and internet speed is the worst of the worst everyone at home struggle to even use the Internet when we do have internet iphela manje please don't waste your money on their DSTV WIFi uzozisola

They are horrible. I don't recommend DSTV internet to anyone. They locked my simcard claiming that it's not used at the registered address. So many calls and texts till date nothing has been resolved. The problem is always escalated with different reference numbers. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE

DStv stream is the worst platform international streaming platforms stream better and don’t keep freezing and then making you go back and selecting the same channel over me again over again…watching the cycling and soccer I constantly get disconnected and I have fibre no other devices streaming and a download and upload speed most people don’t get as I work from home in an IT industry I am also in Randburg there should be no buffering or disconnection absolutely no reason for it unless the provider is useless and it is. Netflix is starting to show live sporting events Dstv will land up closing its doors at this rate over priced no new shows repeats all the time and now can’t compete with just streaming quality typical South African service

For the last four days I have no internet and each time I chat to one of the rude agents, they tell me my sim is locked because it's not at the registered address. This is crazy cause I've paid. I am canceling my subscription at the end of the month. Dstv is scamming us.

A one star rating is to high you should have a minus five because that is the service I am getting

This is the most annoying, most unstable useless app ever! Keeps hanging, gives blue logo screen endlessly. Tried restarting device and reinstalling app several times and still failed to watch favorite sports. Don't waste of money subscribing.

They keep on increasing monthly bills evrymonth telling you are owing them without any explanation and they disconnect you before your due date of payment

No l think they are scamming us monthly they can take up to more R100 to me no lm tired

Used to be a big fan over the years, bt lately I'm having a nightmare of experiences with DStv 🥴

I look at all the complaints and for me it was the best thing I ever did. Although I miss the sport I can at least see highlights on YOUTUBE. If I really want to watch a game at the local PUB. No contracts that bind you, I can choose what I want to watch with other teaming services. Feel sorry for the people who is tied up in contracts. One fundamental principal DSTV is not gasp is "GIVE THHE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT" not what you think they want. They also underestimate the intelligence of their subscriber base. Sorry DSTV we have suffered to much for so long. "RIP"

What a waste of money, dstv you suck balls. So many ads in between shows. We will not renew our subscription

Is there anyone out there who is able to assist me please coz I've spoken to four DStv consultants already but I'm still stuck with the problem of not being able to watch any programming on the streaming app. Ten days now already. I get as far as "Welcome to DStv. Please wait while we get everything set up.." And that's it. Stuck on the blue DStv stream screen for hours on end. Literally. I've done the reboot uninstall install clear cache sign out sign in rigmarole but to no avail. Can anyone who maybe experienced the same problem advise me please?

Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional service, streaming app hasn't been working for days, but when you are complaining, the first thing dstv wants to do is selling you insurance for your decoder...? Seriuosly guys? Empty words from the service agent...for me dstv is wasting money and time!
