Very good value car rental and the service was excellent. Not as glamorous or glitzy as the big car rental names but very satisfactory. The guys there were very helpful,.I only got one of their names... Toon meer

Proved impossible to book via the website. Clicking on the 'confirm booking' button had no effect, no error message either. booking via mobile no better. option to pay deposit only was inactive but to... Toon meer

Very rude ill-mannered,staff.
I booked online they charged me £514 extra when I went to collet the car (midnight)and told me I will not get a refund which I paid online if I will not pay £514 extra. They knew that I was with my kids age 7 and 9 and it was freezing, they let my kids stand outdoor in freezing, windy cold weather about 45 mins. They took advantage that I can’t go anywhere with my wife and kids because everything was closed that time. I had no option and I paid extra £514 to Very rude ill-mannered,staff.

Scam Artists.

Booked a car through CarJet.com. Arrived in Belfast, looking for the car hire company. Had to phone to arrange a shuttle. The place is not actually at the airport which is a pain as you have to stand waiting about. Went in the office with my passport, driving licence and credit card to pay the £1500 deposit, as stated in the email. Apparently I needed two proofs of address too which I didn't have printed out. They told me they could release the car but I would be charged another £60 for extra insurance. I phoned Carjet who said I'd only need one proof of address. I came off the phone to Carjet and got the documents together on my phone. They initially said I could email them the docs. I went back to the office. They refused to serve me point blank saying that Carjet had cancelled my booking. I phoned Carjet back who said it hadn't been cancelled and even though the office wouldn't hire the car, they wouldn't give me a refund. So I am stuck with no car and no refund. Had to get a taxi to my destination. Felt like they were deliberately being difficult to extort money. Scam Artists.

Joke of Company

Booked a car through a broker months in advance. On arrival in Belfast we rang easirent as per instructions on the voucher only to be told they didn't have a suitable vehicle available! All they had was a fiat 500 which was a lot smaller than the car we had booked. No way could 4 adults and luggage fit in this car.
We were not offered any alternative and the guy on the phone was very unhelpful.
Very poor customer service and very unprofessional , didn't care they'd ruined our weekend!

I question honesty and integrity of the…

I question honesty and integrity of the people who run this branch. They took £84 fuel deposit from me initially. When I returned the car with full tank I was told I would get my fuel refund in about 28 days. 6 weeks later nothing has happened. I phoned them today and been told it is non refundable as the payment has been used to reduce insurance excess. I will never hire a car again from them.

Very poor information available on location of car pick as it is off airport.

My experience after 40 years of booking car with cheap companies is that the booking is still a nightmare .

Not Recommended

Booked car on the easirent website and arrived into the airport (belfast) at the time agreed (1900hrs). No answer from the telephone at the offsite branch. Phone then switched to the other airport 20 miles away who could not contact the branch I had booked to collect from. After 20 minutes of waiting in the arrivals hall I rang back to be told the staff had all gone home and the branch was not manned. After 40 minutes I was called back by the other branch to be told someone was driving from 20 miles away, to open the branch, get transport, and then drive to the airport to get me. I’d ask for the manager to call which he didn’t.

With people waiting for me at the end of a long drive ahead with the car, I cancelled the booking with easirent on the telephone as it would take at least another hour, and asked for a refund, and walked over to a larger established brand who supplied me a car on the spot. Hopefully I get the refund as it wasn’t even poor customer service it was nil customer service as no one was home!

I fly over 100 times a year and rent all over the world, this was a first when the airport hire company wasn’t even manned at 1900hrs at night for a pre booked car.

On the flip side, the staff at the other airport (phil) was polite, sympathetic, and appeared to be capable - easirent you should promote him into the managers post. I would give him a job in the spot.

Very good value car rental and the…

Very good value car rental and the service was excellent. Not as glamorous or glitzy as the big car rental names but very satisfactory.
The guys there were very helpful,.I only got one of their names Tristan. They went to extra lengths to return my passport to me ,.....I left it in the car and they took good care of it.

Do not rent from Easirent Belfast…

Do not rent from Easirent Belfast Airport location:
Look and believe the bad reviews...I should have as I had a terrible experience with this location.
Starting with terrible airport shuttle service... required large damage deposits... even when I had full insurance coverage purchased through Expedia... As many other reviews 1 Star rating is too much for this location!!

We state during the booking process and in the confirmation voucher that a deposit equal to your excess is taken on each rental. We offer this amongst a range of insurance options including the ability to hire using just a debit card and no deposit required.

If you feel you have been misled then we would strongly advise you to contact the third party booking site that you made your reservation with as it is their responsibility to display each suppliers' rental terms and criteria.

Clicking on the 'confirm booking' button had no effect, no error message either. booking via mobile no better. option to pay deposit only was inactive but to no surprise payment in full was immediately possible. please don't advertise an option which cannot be selected!
