Thank you for your review, and I completely understand your concern. Waiting for results without clear updates can be frustrating, especially when expectations are based on shorter turnaround times.

I’d like to reassure you that your samples were safely received by the laboratory on 5 March 2026, and your case is currently progressing within the normal processing timeframe. For this specific analysis, the turnaround time is approximately three weeks from the laboratory receipt date, rather than the shorter timeframe mentioned on the website, which applies to other types of tests.

We also identified a small administrative issue on our side that affected the timing of one of the automated notifications you received. This has now been addressed internally, and I sincerely apologise for any confusion it may have caused.

Please be assured that this is not a scam, and your case is actively being processed. I am personally monitoring your file and will make sure you are updated as soon as the results are available.

Hi Grainne,

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed, but we’d like to clarify a few key points for future customers:

✅ We are not falsely advertising – our Terms & Conditions clearly state that EasyDNA is part of an international group with logistical offices across Europe (including Ireland) and accredited testing laboratories in the U.S. and EU.

✅ Not an Irish lab? Correct – Ireland does not currently host a local laboratory offering the advanced canine breed testing you ordered. For this reason, all samples are forwarded to our accredited partner lab abroad.

✅ Timelines – The quoted turnaround of up to 30 working days (from receipt at the lab) is stated clearly at purchase and agreed to upon checkout.

✅ The form – While simple by design, the breed identification form is part of the lab’s internal protocol and helps improve testing accuracy where applicable. The results are based solely on the dog’s DNA, not what’s written down.

Lastly, accusing a company of being a “total scam” is a serious and unfounded claim — especially when services were provided transparently and within agreed terms. If you still have questions about your results or experience, we’d be happy to assist you directly.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that your second sample was sent using an untracked digital stamp, which is not a guaranteed delivery method. As per our instructions, we strongly recommend using registered post for international returns (Ireland to England) to avoid such issues. We cannot be held responsible for problems with sending back the samples to our offices.

In addition, kindly note that An Post advises a standard delivery time of 2–3 working weeks, and with public holidays approaching, delays are possible. Next week marks the third week since dispatch — if the sample has still not arrived by then, we’ll gladly arrange a free replacement kit. Unfortunately we have no control over the postal system.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please note that we are committed to providing a professional and transparent service and take any accusations made against our company very seriously.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration regarding the expiration of your test.

As per our Terms & Conditions agreed upon at the time of purchase (https://www.easydna.ie/terms-of-service/), all DNA tests have a three-month sample return period, and cases automatically expire after one year. This timeframe refers to the validity of the service, not the expiry of materials like cotton swabs. Unfortunately, once a test has expired, it cannot be processed, which is why we offered an alternative with a discount.
