This place scammed me, and I would never rent via them. Back in 2016, Jacqueline Kool scammed me with the famous Eugene van Dun with an apartment in Sonmansstraat 126BII. This was a studio for a single or a couple for 1800 a month + 2 month deposit, where I was receiving my sister a bit after I moved. When I wanted to register her and get a second key, the owner refused to sign her up, and when I said then I would need to cancel my contract within a month (following Dutch law), the owner flipped, came to the house to scream at us (we have the recordings), threaten us that if we don’t leave immediately, he would send someone to vacate us. And essentially left us in the streets by december 2016. They ghosted us, and although we got a lawyer to get the deposit back, they never replied again to our claim and kept the 3600 euros. We were 19 years old. I would not recommend this agency. They work with people that think can be above the law. And it was also a shame in the law system that our lawyer advised not to pursue as it could cost us more than the deposit and because Eugene was a public figure. Shame on all of you, and I hope people keep leaving bad reviews. Terrible experience.

Do not rent an apartment via EHR. Refused to give my deposit back (initially) and then charging me costs for the destruction of furniture (despite clear evidence otherwise) and cleaning. I would not put it passed them that they would have kept the whole deposit if I not threatened legal steps.
