I love the easy prep and meal options. It's convenient and prevents the same rut of meal planning. It's also great having everything you need for the meals you want to make for the week.

The only downfall is that it is limited in not having air fryer or instant pot options, or the ability to customize diets (ie GF or high protein meals).

I tried to cancel a subscription 12 days after it was renewed without my knowledge. Unfortunately they put profits over good customer service and refused to refund me. Beware of the profits before customer service policy this company has.

I love the meal planning but sometimes there is absolutely nothing interesting for the week's meals. For example, it is currently July, and the temps are in the high 90's and all the meals for the week are heavy and involve the oven or soups

Great menus with lot's of mealtime options. Downloads the grocery list directly to your store. Amazing time saver. The food is always good. I've been called a gourmet cook thanks to eMeals!

I really do enjoy eMeals. eMeals is a great way to plan my week according to my dietary restrictions with fresh new meal ideas. I love the shopping list it send into my Walmart Plus account. It allows me to plan my meals and have my pantry ready to go when it's time to prepare them. None of the recipes have been too difficult to prepare, and I have loved SO many of them. There are recipes that work for my family that have now become staple meals.

We love e-meals! As a part time working mom with two toddlers, this is amazing! It makes shopping a million times easier, and I have two major work trips in summer, this makes it super easy for my husband to take over for dinner while i'm gone, without me having to do anything more than sit with him to choose meals together, which we do anyway!

The meal plan change is great, because I'm starting on a health journey, and finding things that are quick but also good for me is way easier than getting lost in Pinterest. I do wish you could access recipes from the computer, because that would make printing recipes easier (my printer is a dinosaur and won't talk to my phone) but the compatibility for other devices helps a lot.

I have a soy allergy, so making changes to the recipes is super easy, I'm not locked into anything I can't eat grocery wise, though I do wish I could plug that in as an option, just to make my life even easier, but its not really that much extra time, since I shop myself anyway. But I cook for gluten and dairy allergies regularly, so having options for them is awesome!

The app is really great and any time I've had any issues customer service has made it a breeze, and they are so kind and prompt!! I got charged twice at the beginning of my subscription and it was fixed withing hours, and the people I communicated with were so so lovely! Honestly, I cannot recommend this enough.

I have to say that I was skeptical when I signed up for the free trial! But, so far I have been impressed with the ease of ordering food and great taste of the meals.

I wish there was a way to plan meals on PC.

I love eMeals! I get to choose from a wide variety of meals each week. EMeals puts it all together, gives me a shopping list, and then sends the shopping list to Walmart. My kids are happy with the different things I have been making. I am happy that I don't have to think about what I am going to make each day. I also save so much time (and money) by not having to go into the store to get food!

I gave 4 stars because I often struggle with the app. When I'm in a hurry to make my shopping list, often times it won't load or won't load my meal plan. That is my only dissatisfaction with emeals. Otherwise I LOVE it! I can chose the number of meals a week I need, I can save my favorites, and I can change or leave out certain ingredients (I just don't add them to my list). I have used emeals for almost 10 years. I have and will continue to recommend it. Thank you!

They take advantage of people. I was a paying customer for two years. They charged me an annual renewal two days ago without giving me any notice that the renewal was approaching. The charge is pending on my credit card and I sent an email requesting they cancel my subscription because I no longer need it or use it, and reverse the charge. They refused. I can cancel now which ensures that I won't be auto renewed in June 2026, but now I'm just out the money for a service I won't be using. You'd think after being a customer for two years without complaint, they would have some consideration for people. They just want to take your money and run. Absolutely intentional to not notify customers that their subscription is renewing soon.

I was very intrigued by the concept of this app but it has fallen short. I appreciate using whole and home grown ingredients to supplement my meals. After a 14 day trial I errored on the cancelation and am now stuck with a $100 membership that is not helpful to my family. If you like to use pantry staples this is NOT the service for you. Even the simple recipes use bizarre ingredients.
The customer service is also atrocious. I recognize that I miscalculated and was 1 day late to cancel my trial. There is no phone number (the one that does exist just tells you to use the online option) and they were absolutely unwilling to offer any form of solution. While it was my fault for missing the cancelation date, for the ridiculous cost it would be nice to at least have access to some form of accessible customer service

Although I don't use the app all that much because I live alone, the app makes it very easy to find a recipe and get the ingredients added to my current shopping list. Plus, I can recipes that will work for two days.

I am a long time subscriber to Emeals. Originally, the service built menus based on the local sales pages of local grocery chains. I loved that it was both budget conscious and did the work of planning menus for me. I printed weekly menus and stored them in a binder. I still had to do the shopping, but the menu and list was generated for me. As a busy homeschooling mom of four, I did not have the bandwidth to menu plan on top of all my other responsibilities and Emeals helped so much.

I have come to enjoy and rely on the menu planning, as it offers a wide variety of recipes and new ideas all the time. I still use it consistently, even though the kids are grown and gone. They have developed an app which will link to your instacart account and you can do all your shopping from home and have your order delivered right to your door. What a time to be alive!!

I've been with eMeals for many years and it's just gotten easier and better through the years. Ideas, recipes, ability to save, fill into my weekly menu plan and puts all ingredients into my list with the click of a button. Then you can go in and revise your shopping list for those ingredients. It even tells you which recipe the ingredients are for. Then you can send it to your store or just shop for yourself. I don't know what I would do without my eMeals subscription!

Its so easy to figure out what's for dinner, make my shopping list and send it to Wal-Mart for delivery. The sheer variety of recipe choices is amazing, and I love the fact that I can save my favorites to make again later.

I had been ordering the food boxes from various delivery companies and was fairly happy. But my husband kept asking why I never cooked any of our "family" recipes any more. This was a perfect answer to that issue. Not only are there plans that give great recipe ideas, but I can import my own personalized ones as well! AND, what makes it even better is that all of the ingredients in the recipes transfer directly to my Walmart grocery account. SO easy! As far as cost is concerned, it's very reasonable. The whole year was about the cost of one food box.

I’m extremely disappointed with this company. They signed me up for an auto-renewal without clear consent or adequate notice, then refused to issue a refund when I contacted them immediately after being charged. It's frustrating and feels intentionally deceptive.

I didn’t receive any reminder before the charge, and their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive when I explained the situation. This is not how you build trust or long-term customer relationships.

I strongly recommend others be cautious before doing business with them. Check the fine print—clearly, they count on people missing it.
