My son is 11 and has red/green Protan color blindness. We always knew he was colorblind, but not to the extent that he had. I bought a cheaper pair of glasses from Amazon and he said they turned everything pink. So I took the plunge and got him the EnChroma pair. When he put them on, his face lit up, he kept repeating "this is so cool". And said "Everything was so plain, now it all has color". We cannot wait for Fall leaves and Christmas lights, which after 11 years, he will finally see for the first time.

Does Not Work for Colorblindness - Very Difficult Return Process

I ordered glasses that were advertised to help with colorblindness.
After testing, there was no noticeable difference. They worked like regular sunglasses.

I contacted customer service for help. At first they asked me to return the item to the USA at my own expense.
*The return process was very difficult and took a long time.*
They only provided a local return address in Germany after I mentioned involving my bank.

I do not recommend this product. The experience was very disappointing.

I bought these as a gift for my husband, watching him experience all colors for the first time was priceless!

Perfect every time

The shop experience is confusing at best but I finally found what I was looking for after trying different filters and menus. The worst part is that there’s so many bait and switch promos flying around the site that make you think you’ll get a promo code for a discount on the product and then in the cart the promo codes don’t work for the item you select. All of it needs to be way more clear up front so I don’t feel like I got cheated and begrudgingly give you my money anyway, but not happy about it.

The service agent helped me with my presciption glasses and suggested I would get a discount for buying multiple pair, too. This is an awesome demonstration of excellent customer service.

I bought a pair of glasses with prescription for my very active 8-year old boy. Within 18 months, I had to use the warranty twice, and in both cases EnChroma kept their promise and sent me a new pair. Worth the investment, and kid loves to be able to see well in full color! Highly recommended!

You’re asking me how they are, but I still don’t even have them yet. Might as well send them by bicycle next time! They are not cheap! Don’t cheap out on shipping.

Quick response to our initial E-Mail and good advice. We were very excited and emotional at the response of our son on being able to see the broader range of colours afforded by the original lenses purchased in 2015, and are equally excited with the anticipation of what his experience will be with your new technological advances in particular with the indoor lenses. We hope that some day all those affected by this will be able to experience our son's joy.
