Maybe it worked? Maybe their legit? Very had to tell.

Marquis and IQ Credit Union exposed all my personal data, then offered this garbage company to help monitor my ID.

1) The first thing they do is ask for ALL of your personal information, including SSN. When somebody has been violated like this, the last thing we want to do is enter our personal info into a random website. What is the point of the activation code if you need me to enter all that anyway? Seems like this is ONLY to create friction and save money for the companies who violated me.

2) After entering all that info, if errored out. It told me I entered info wrong (I didn't). So I re-entered, and then it told me I was already in the system (a different message this time). Then I tried to login and it failed. Then I tried to reset my PW and it told me it would send an email. It didn't send the email. Then...

3) I called and everyone who answered had such a strong Indian (in that region at least) accent that I could not understand them, and I'm very good at understanding people with accents. The first person just said "hello?" When I started talking she said it again. Then one more time and hung up. It almost sounded like a recording, and here's some conspiracy stuff but we live in 2026...it felt like the first call gets routed to this recording of a person pretending they can't hear you to again, create enough friction that I won't call back and again, save money for my violators. The next guy I couldn't understand AT ALL. I honestly think he was just speaking gibberish on purpose. I said "I'm trying to set up a new account" and he was like "Okay you're garba bubba dopple chootsee." WHAT?! Those aren't even the same sounds. I hung up.

4) I tried again and again to login and/or reset my password. Then I waited 5 hours and tried and again BAM! I finally got the email. "We are pleased to inform you that your account has been successfully created. You're just one step away from accessing your new account. To get started, simply click the link below to sign in: Access Your Account." Woohoo! Clicked it, logged in, it said I would need to do additional verification so I agreed, and it immediately took me to a screen that said "Uh oh, we could not verify your identity at this time. Please try again." I tried 5 more times with the same outcome. So yeah...still no access.

5) I called again the next day and got somebody with a strong Hispanic accent, but I could understand him this time, so lots of progress there. He said my information was incorrect on their end (making me wonder if any of this is necessary since apparently what was stolen was incorrect). Anyhow, I went through the process with him, got through the verification questions, and....the site just froze. I had to go back to an email I received the previous day with an ACCESS ACCOUNT link and use that. It had failed previously, but now it appeared to be working. Apparently when there are no alerts, you just get a blank white page that does not indicate "no alerts." Smurt. Not like it would be helpful to know it's working, especially after repeated failures. So...it appears that I'm in? Maybe? Not the "peace of mind" one would expect to get after a situation like this.

If really feels like they do not want us to get access to this. I have never experienced this amount of friction with any website ever, let alone one that exists only to put my mind at ease.

I feel MUCH MORE like I was violated again - once by IQ Credit Union and Marquis losing my information and a second time from them choosing a second rate company to keep me safe after they exposed me to the world.

For what it's worth, I had TrueIdentity for years because of breaches at other institutions, and that was easy to set up and very clear about new alerts and my data security. I guess I'm with these folks now, so hopefully they read this and do better.

This is simply nuts.

Their UK office simply stole my deposit and did not do the job they commited CAB says I should take it to court - I ask: why does the High Court contract with such an agency and puts them in a monopoly position? Shame on them for stealing £250 from a disabled person.

Sent over 100 plus e mails to this useless company and they still cannot answer a simple question. All they can do is send me an auto reply e mail telling me they will get back to me. Over 2 months and i am still e mailing them. This company is beyond useless and has no customer services what so ever, They are a joke do not do business with them.

Still totally nothing from these useless people. Total joke company. Stay away from them
