Harold is a superb craftsman who repaired my favourite pair of glasses like new. Although I live outside Dublin, I was able to post the glasses to Harold who fixed the broken hinge, colour matched where it had been soldered, and replaced the nosepads. The glasses arrived back in the post like new. Harold is such a sweet gentleman who kept in touch via WhatsApp from beginning to end. I was so lucky to find such a superb craftsman at Eppels. A wonderful exprience. Thank you, Harold!

On a very wet Friday afternoon I arrived at Ramon Eppel Opticians as they were about to close. I had researched them on the web looking for replacement nose pads for my glasses. They indicated straight away that I was welcome despite the late hour. Having examined my glasses they said they were non-standard (I bought them in Nice, France). Nonetheless they searched their collection to be 100pc sure. They tightened my glasses, wouldn't accept payment, and said if my nose pads were to be found they would attempt to get them. They would update me on the Monday by What's App. They duly did saying they had sourced them and they would take two to three weeks to deliver. I'm now about to have them fitted. What I experienced was total professionalism, expertise, patience and superb, efficient service.
