The two ladies who done the booking and gave my Mum the PCR test were so helpful and really nice! Their services are the Best in Town! Best price, excellent customer services and first class service! A Big Thank You Eurofins!!!
It was easy to use this service. Booked on line for PCR test to be carried out at local testing station ( city centre travel agent) upon my return from holiday. Confirmation and the required booking number received by return. The requirements changed during my holiday and I received an email offering to downgrade my test to the new requirement, with a refund of £10, but without the need to change any documents as the confirmation number would remain the same. For ease I left the booking as it was.
When I attended for the test it was carried efficiently with polite and courteous staff. Test taken at 2pm on a Friday, I received my email result by 11 am on the Saturday. Complete with a printable certificate. Negative so nothing further required.

What happened after that is the distressing story ....
Completed an ANTIGEN test in Bath 2.5 days in advance of flight from Bristol-Dublin on the Monday 22nd of November last. On contact 48 hours later by email had very delayed communication asking for codes etc.as could not find my details. They could not find the test.
On Wednesday 24th Nov from 10.30am- 5.15pm I rang literally 10 times, was put on hold over 20mins at a time with various operators saying they were looking for my test results. Each operator 'promised' sincerely they would ring me back with an update. Nobody did.
That Wednesday I was flying out at 6.30pm. I had communicated very clearly that if the test was not found I needed to know ASAP to fly that evening. There was a 4 hour turnaround testing at Bristol Airport that I could pay handsomely but get home to my baby and partner.
The greatest and emotionally disturbing fact was nobody would tell me what was going on, whether the test was logged, received. I was led on a merry dance as I rang them repeatedly with my travel status I.e. I was now on the bus, on the train, at the airport ....waiting for them to send result. I finally spoke to the manager Louise in Nottingham who at 5.15pm said it has gotten lost.
Stranded in Bristol Airport, no time to do an emergency covid test, nothing. I had to find a hotel, new flight, book a new test and flew out the next day. I had to cancel work the next day also. Absolute FARCE.
I will be billing Eurofin for their incompetence and more than anything the upset they caused me over that Wednesday. The fallout on all levels they have no idea what they caused. Absolute disgrace. I would be very reluctant to fly after this nightmare.
If they had just said we can't find it, you need to do an emergency test I could have helped the situation, and got home. But they just kept saying we are looking for test and will ring you. I even sat beside the phone for 2 hours in lobby (left my conference to 'not miss the call ' when they were going to ring me back). This was a desperate situation. Anyone who I have told cannot believe this could happen when I was organised 2.5 days in advance of my return flight. It was very upsetting to be at Bristol Airport trying to figure out how to get back home to Dublin. All my patients had to be cancelled that Thursday 25th of November, not to mention my baby at home eager to see his mammy on her 1st trip away.
The fallout it caused no one can comprehend, but the non communication and no update/return calls, led on merry dance shows such incompetence, deceit and no sense if a solution led thinking to problem solving. This call centre has no idea how to support or solve a problem situation. There was no contingency plan or thinking of what happens when tests go missing. No training, no morals, no common sense.

The results were with us by 9am on Day 2, so that bit worked well. However if anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. I was on hold to them for over an hour and Eurofins never picked up. Not sure why you’d put a phone number if you don’t ever answer it

Very easy process from start to finish. The result took about an hour to come through but other than that I would recommend Eurofins for your COVID tests.
