As this was my first electric vehicle purchase, I particularly appreciated the level of service, guidance and consideration provided throughout the process. The team were helpful from the outset, and once Lily was assigned as my contact, she did an excellent job in ensuring I had the information I needed to make an informed decision.
Although Lily had only been with the business for a few weeks, she handled the sales process very well and demonstrated professionalism, knowledge and a customer-focused approach. I also valued being able to test drive the car unaccompanied, as this allowed me to consider the vehicle without feeling pressured. On my return, the discussion was focused on what was best for me as the customer.
Tom, the Sales Manager, was also very helpful in supporting both Lily and me throughout the process. Overall, I had a very positive experience with the team at BYD Birmingham.

A procedure that was supposed to take 2 hours, took 5 days due to the company's dependency on getting a piece of equipment from an outside source. It was needed to loosen a locking wheel nut - in order to re-balance the tyre pressure. This wouldn't have been an issue if the balancing had been done correctly by Evans Halshaw in the first place.

We have been looking to buy a used mini and we found one that we liked the look of at Evans Halshaw byd Tyburn road , we were looked after by a lovely young lady called Lilly , she was very professional but more importantly we found her very warm and a pleasure to deal with , she had the car prepared for us , accompanied us on our test drive and was very knowledgable about the car , we were very impressed with her and the place as a whole , unfortunately the mini was not the one for us this time but we will definitely be keeping an eye on there used cars and hopefully we will deal with Lilly and the team in the future , thanks Steve m

I had a mechanical problem with a car we'd bought from Evans Halshaw in Stourbridge, who liaised with the Erdington branch (relocated from Bordesley) to have the issue solved there. Matthew from the service department was helpful in getting the car booked in for the same day & then called within 2 hours to say everything was sorted, with no charge.
A really friendly & professional team who saved us an hours journey back to Stourbridge. We were told any problems to give the Erdington team a call & they'd be happy to help.

The new showroom and service centre are a big improvement from their previous site and easier to get to. Staff very helpful particularly Matt on Service Reception. Had a slight issue when they didn't have a part to finish the job so had to go back a few days later when they had the part.

Matt at the service centre was absolutely brilliant throughout.
He took the time to understand the issues properly and really listened to everything I had to say. He remained calm, collected and professional at all times which gave me complete confidence that he could handle any situation presented to him.
I believe Matt is exceptionally talented when it comes to customer service and problem-solving. It is rare to come across someone so capable, patient, and solution-focused.
He is truly one of the few people who seems to have an answer for every problem. This was some of the best customer service I have ever received.

Bought a car and went through all the finance etc 2 weeks before we collected and was told that the retractable tow bar wasn't retracting but not to worry it would get it fixed before we travelled 450 miles to collect it. Day before we due to collect we get a phone call from a different salesman saying he had driven it and noticed the tow bar was showing a fault and had put to land rover next door but they couldn't fix it.......offered money off or cashback. Fine! Told that it also had extra wheels and tyres and did we want them? Of course the soare set had summer tyres and was winter on the car. We asked if they could be swapped over for our collection next day. Agreed. Get a phone call that evening from someone else saying we HAD to sign all the finance documents and get them across and would be a very quick handover at our appointment at 10am next morning for which we were told we would get collected! 945am arrives and nothing so phone them and told will get someone out to us. Eventually get there and have to wait quite a but of time as salesman is with someone else. I asked if wheels had been changed......NOPE! So they say they will go do it, half hour later they come back and say the mechanic shattered the locking nut key after doing 2 wheels...... they have ordered another and will post it out to us and should be quick. We got out of there nearly 1pm and still had an 8hour drive ahead. So much for quick.
I havr now messaged twice asking for the key and have been ignored. WILL NEVER buy another car from this company again. Customer service is atrocious and they clearly dont communicate with anyone else in showroom!
