My name is Peter and I am writing this so nobody else has to go through what I did with Excel Cool. I paid for a brand new air conditioner to be installed in my home, but they put in a second hand one instead. It looked used from day one and within weeks it started rattling, smelling strange and barely cooling the room. I had another company come out to check it and they confirmed it was definitely not new.

The installation was a mess as well. The workers turned up late, rushed the job, and left rubbish all over the place. They never explained how the unit worked, just got it in the wall and left. When I started asking questions about why it looked so worn, I was fobbed off with nonsense excuses.

When I finally spoke to Corey, the owner, I was shocked at how aggressive and dismissive he was. Instead of listening, he raised his voice, talked over me and basically made it sound like I was the one at fault for complaining. It felt like they had no respect for me as a customer and no interest in fixing the problem.

I paid for a new system and was given second hand junk, then treated with arrogance when I dared to speak up. Completely untrustworthy and unprofessional company. If you are thinking of using them, my advice is simple: do not.

I honestly regret ever contacting Excel Cool. As a woman living alone I trusted them to install a brand new air conditioning unit in my apartment, which I paid for in full. Instead, they put in a second hand unit that was clearly old and used. At first I thought maybe I was overreacting, but within a few weeks it started making strange noises and gave off a horrible smell. When I had another company look at it, they confirmed what I already suspected, it was definitely not new.

The installation process itself was careless. The men turned up late, left rubbish around my place, and rushed through everything. They did not explain the unit, they did not check if it was working properly, and when I asked questions I was brushed off with excuses that made no sense.

The worst part though was dealing with the owner Corey. When I confronted him about what had happened he was extremely aggressive and dismissive. He raised his voice, cut me off while I tried to speak, and made me feel like I was the problem for even questioning their work. It was intimidating and incredibly unprofessional.

This whole experience has left me feeling cheated and disrespected. I paid for something new and trustworthy, but what I got was second hand rubbish and a company that refused to take responsibility.

If you are considering Excel Cool, please take my advice and look elsewhere. There are better companies out there that will treat you with respect and actually deliver what you pay for.
