Formula One Autocentres - Bexhill Reviews 

I recently had my car serviced and MOT completed at Formula One Autocentres in Bexhill, and I’m very pleased with the experience. The advisor at reception, Scott, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the whole process.

The team carried out a full service and checked the car thoroughly, explaining everything clearly. They also offered a very good price for the work, which I really appreciated.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the quality of the service and the professionalism of the staff. I would definitely recommend this garage to others and will be happy to return in the future.

I have been using Formula One Autocentre Bexhill for a couple of years now and they consistently provide a brilliant, cost-effective service. Whenever you go in there, the staff are always friendly and helpful. They keep you informed at each stage what is going on with your car and they do what they say they’re going to do for a good price. What more could you ask for, I think they’re brilliant! I would particularly like to praise Dan the assistant manager and Reece the mechanic who have provided me with a first class service today, thank you!

Hastings was booked solid for tyres when mine went (with that amount of potholes, who's surprised?) but Scott at F1 Bexhill got me a slot.

My word are these guys efficient! Done in double quick time and VERY ££reasonable.

Special note for Rhys who went over and above (whilst under) with my Prius, closing some trunking that had popped open.

Car failed MOT on shock absorbers. MOT centre i took car to couldn't do the work for 2 weeks. Took car to F1 Scott went out of his way to source and fit Saturday afternoon car ready for retest Monday. Brilliant service!

Tried to charge me for a retest to my surprise never heard that before so questioned it politely and they explained that if they have 3 to 4 retests a day it all adds up didn’t feel to push it any further and said I don’t mind paying anyway then the guy behind the counter half slammed my key and pass certificate on the counter. Please check when they tell you what needs to be done to get through an MOT fail and what is just an advisory as I paid nearly £1000 for new brakes I did not need. To top it off, when I took my car away it had an error message that had never been there before so having to take it to a other garage.

I recently took my X5 in for an MOT at Formula One Autocentre in Bexhill, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The vehicle passed without a single advisory, which is always a relief — but what really stood out was the professionalism and expertise of the entire team.

The assistant manager was clearly highly trained, with a calm, confident approach and a deep understanding of the process. The manager himself was even more impressive — efficient, knowledgeable, and clearly committed to maintaining high standards across the board.

From start to finish, this felt like a team that truly knows their craft. There’s a reason I chose them: reputation, professionalism, and precision — and they delivered on every front.

Highly recommended if you value competence, courtesy, and getting the job done right the first time.

Spoke to Steve on reception about my exhaust part booked in 2days later all sorted fast service & cheapest price I could find. Definitely would recommend & use again. Got guys biscuits doughnuts to say a Thankyou. Keep up the good work 😊

Having tried to adjust my tracking to no avail ( seized up tie bar lock nut) they apologetically explained the problem and offered a future solution, but made no charge for the time they had spent attempting to free off the offending lock nut.Quite refreshing in an industry that doesn't enjoy the best of reputations

Very friendly staff and managed to fit in the car on the day. But they put the tyre on the wrong wheel. It’s a good job we checked when I turned up to collect otherwise I would have still driven away on a completely flat tyre and would have paid to replace one that was perfectly fine and only 4 months old.

Top staff very helpful and straight to the point , excellent service , work and MOT done at last minute, picked up another garages work who left a new exhaust bolts loose , I will use this garage again no problem.

This was my first visit to the Bexhill centre and I cannot fault them at all. Right from the off they were very friendly, helpful and professional. The service I received was second to none and the prices were good. I purchased the tyres I needed online, the procedure was very user friendly and it was followed up with a phone call from them. Highly recommend.

Firstly the good. Tyre prices at F1 Autocentres are great and have been consistently competitive for several years. I've used them repeatedly. The not so good, on more than one occasion the fitting center has been unable to honour the appointment time arranged through an online purchase. The first time I encountered this was at Polegate where I was told, upon arrival at the prescribed time, that they wouldn't be able to fit my tyres for a couple of hours. I got my wife to come collect me, expecting to kill time at home for a while, only to receive a phone call pretty much as we walked into our house to say the tyres were fitted. So back we went. I guess good that they seemed to jump straight on it, not good that they'd said it would be a couple of hours. The most recent encounter was at the Bexhill location, where, upon arriving at the arranged date and time, I was told my tyres hadn't been delivered and that I would have to go back in the afternoon the following day. This was inconvenient because Bexhill is where I work and not where I live and the time I was asked to return was 2 hours after I finish work. Then I had to wait an hour for 2 tyres to be fitted. I will keep using F1 Autocentres for tyres because of the good pricing and because these are two occasions where I've experienced poor service out of many more visits. This also seems to be more of an issue with the online booking system that needs to be sorted and maybe out of the control of the actual fitting centers.

The guy behind the counter, Scott, was lovely - super friendly, chatty and made us feel really comfortable while we were waiting. He even gave my kid some sweets and pastries while we were waiting!

Getting all four tyres changed has never been so simple! Ordered online and booked for Bexhill on Sea a specific day and time to suit me, easy! Once there staff were welcoming and polite, service was on time and end product impressive. Thankyou A*****
