I always find Hillfield to be spotlessly clean, with helpful and friendly staff.
I was served today by Brooke, she was warm, polite and professional.
I would definitely recommend this pub.

Unfortunately my wife and I arrived a litte late for breakfast and found that breakfast had already finished at 11am, so we had no choice but to order the all day breakfast which cost us about an extra tenner. What really spoilt it for us was that they had sacrificed that extra hour (most restaurants finish serving breakfast at 12) by bringing out the dinner. It seems no one told the customer because the first one didn't arrive till 11.35, by which time everything had sat under the heat lamps for 35 mins. The only saving grace was that the service and the breakfast was actually very nice, I'm just glad I wasn't having the dinner.

Trying this place many times over few years, food always hot and tender, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, clean environment and tasty cakes.

Love this place and always recommend it, lunch and dinner time booking required otherwise it’s a big queue.

Booked a table a week in advance as the website says the Elmwood Farm at Sheffield is dog friendly. Received a call this morning saying they can only seat us outside (in January) with dogs, so had to cancel. Can't get booked in anywhere else on a Sunday at this time so day ruined.

Farmhouse Inns Astley chaddock Lane. it was my little girls birthday meal. I was only refunded for my wife's cold RAW steak meal not mine. All food was luke warm except the peppercorn sauce. Manager said I'd eaten half of one so no refund for that.. I had to get to the middle to see how raw it was.,I ordered medium, it was raw. So I paid full price for chip scraps and dry peas ect. If I had found it acceptable I would of finished the full meal.....why would I chance another meal on the basis I'm all ready a meal cost down and to risk another £60-£70 on a family meal again. Portion size was terrible and my picture shows how it arrived before I even touched it.

Ordered a large carvery for delivery. What a joke with a tiny thinly slice of beef that wasnt even a mouthful. Complete waste of money.

Holly tree Nottingham. An amazing Xmas lunch takeaway for 4 people. It was beautiful with healthy portions and fantastic value for money.

We pre-booked a table due to the specific needs for the disabled members of our party. Upon arriving we were dismissed and made to feel unwelcome, no table had been reserved and no consideration to the clear notes I provided to keep everyone safe including allergies. -

Food - there were plenty of choices, the carvery is good value for money, but signage is lacking so you will need to ask staff again and again to check if things are safe or vegetarian safe.
Food from the kitchen some was good, some was mediocre and others were just not acceptable and it shows inconsistency with quality food control coming out the kitchen.
Desserts are great, large but tasty. There are numerous ice creams. There are clearly areas where improvement is needed both in staff training, the welcome and actually reading and reserving tables booked and customer care, social etiquette by staff with customers and lastly food quality control.

Me and my work colleagues went in to barley farm in Eccles Manchester were a lovely lady called Yvonne was very helpful she took time to help us and sort are orders out so we would like to give Yvonne a 5 🌟 review

Wow, we went to linwood, got myself and 2 friends right into the christmas spirit with the lovely decor. We went for the carvery and it didn't disappoint, im at big lassie and I couldn't finish my medium plate. Prices are excellent and staff are so friendly and helpful. One staff member in particular her name being Kendal let us move tables so we could sit next to the beautiful fireplace, she also offered to take our picture together beside it. We will be back

Absolutely disgusting place
overheard staff belittling customers, staff rude, food disgusting, fly's all round carvery, when I complained and was told by staff theres a kfc down the road if I don't like it, which I replied well at least I would get treated with more respect and better quality of food.
When I asked to speak to a supervisor and an old lady the approached and so I presumed that she was the general manager after I told her my complaint she was rude, abusive and didn't seem to care about customer service, If she was my general manager I would have sacked her on the spot as gross misconduct
I definitely will not be recommending to my clients unless that old lady as general manager has gone and the place gets better training.

Food cold viewed my concerns to waitress she said i will pass your concern on i dont think that will happen going at 12 pm roast dinner should have been up to standed and piping hot what a shame this is my third visit with only one visit good i will now give it a miss and hopefully restaurant will improve with chef's passionate about there cooking delivery

Sycamore Farm Burnley, We sometimes call for a coffee while out on our walks, the staff are always very friendly and helpful, customer service is excellent, also your lattes are good quality at a very reasonable price.

Chapelford farms in Great Sankey,
We were on table 67 at 7.30pm last night. The server was absolutely fantastic seriously BUT the meal and desert was the worst meal I’ve ever had, I explained I can’t eat runny eggs due to sensory needs and have to be well done, the all came runny, I felt sick, my sausage was like a sausage from the night before(cold shrivelled up) I asked for mushy peas and got mixed? Chips were hard cold, Chicken rubberry. The waitress was Lovely she asked how meal was and reluctantly I said about the Eggs, she told manager who didn’t even come over? Our puddings eventually came after reminding them and they were cold as well, I ordered extra custard which didn’t come, my partner had to ask again. I don’t like making a fuss but she insisted. I was sick when I got home due to eggs and the sight of them in my head. Apart from waitress service(lady with glasses dark skin) who was exceptional the meal was worst I’ve ever had and that is no exaggeration from start to finish. I won’t be returning again now.

Disappointed with our meals, Hunters Chicken. Two small bits of chicken and a piece of bacon that was around the size of a 50p, chips were nice but the salad that went with it was a pile of leaves with a few drips of dressing. My husband then went up to order desert, this was around 8.45, he mentioned to our friend that he have a look to see what ice cream he wanted only to be told that he can't have it and can't have a desert,my husband said that we wanted a dessert and they guy replied you can't have anything on the menu, the only thing they/we could have was the pre boxed take away cakes of which there was only two choices. To make things worse a waitress came up and asked us if we were paying card or cash as they were cashing the till up...this was at 9.15. One your site it states open 9am till 11pm and the other complaint was the guy was so rude and very offhand even down to us leaving, were you usually get a goodbye or anything. One thing is for sure we will not be going there a again.

Food arrived cold after a 55 minute wait, staff rude refused to acknowledge my problems and seemed confrontational.

Toilets were absolutely filthy too. Don’t recommend at all.
