Good quality food for decent prices, well mannered staff with a nice atmosphere, brilliant for a family day out

Worst experience. Was so embarrassed going up to order and they had half of the menu not in stock. No cakes were stocked up leaving me running back and fourth to my table to see what else people wanted only to find out they don’t have that either when they could’ve told me to begin with. Arrogant staff members at the Bury farmhouse Inn. Manager was the only one with an ounce of common sense. Never going back. Food was raw in the end and we ended up leaving half our plates all of us.

The food itself is alright, it's not overpriced like most places hence why we come here. It could be better hence the 4*

Kay, our waitress was great at accomodating me and my family. Sat us in a great area where we could breast feed descreatly. Great service overall.

Visited today for lunch. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and it was clean. I ordered from the smaller portions menu; fish and chips then apple crumble and custard. All the food was warm and very tasty. Will definately be back. Thanks

We’ve been to Applewood Farm today for my birthday,
10/1/24 there no beef on only Turkey and the food was cold I had to ask them to put it in the microwave

Absolutely stunning carvery today, extremely filling. Super friendly atmosphere and fantastic service by the manager Gerry. Recommended. Will definitely return.

Me and my family have been going to applewood for Christmas dinner the past few years, it’s always been lovely

However this year we booked an earlier slot the food was disgusting we did book the earlier slot don’t know if that was the issue but it looked as if the beef was from the previous day and was so fatty you could not even chew it, could not cut through any of the veg it was rock solid like it hadn’t been cooked long enough (again this could be our own fault with booking the earlier slot)

We waited for desserts and decided to go to counter as a large queue was forming for the people coming to the next slots but was told we were supposed to wait at the table, how long for exactly? We had all fo I shed out main meal for over an hour before anyone even collected the plates

In previous years everything has been lovely this year felt like a general day at applewood

We won’t be coming again expected a little more as we paid almost £400 for the sit down meal

Had xmas dinner today it was absolutely lovely. The place was packed and all the staff worked hard to make sure everything ran well. Manager did all she could to make sure
everyone left happy. We were treated so well.

The floor staff are mistreated by the kitchen staff, appalling to see and hear them gang up on one girl. She worked hard and made sure everyone was comfortable.

Just visited applwood farm and had a great meal with the family can't fault the food and the service was impeccable especially from Georgia who couldn't help us enough and was a pleasure.

Wrong order delivered ie half missing. No refund, no items replaced. Contacted by a manager who offered a replacement meal. Drove from Culcheth to Worsley to collect to be told by Geraldine (another manager who couldn't even confirm the phone number) to go away as she knew nothing about it. Wouldn't trust her to clean the toilet nevermind manage a pub. Rude, offensive & 40 mins wasted. Contacted again by manager to offer replacement meal. Seriously ? Jokers ! AVOID

We had a Great Carvery Thank you to Adam for the sausage and the service he was awesome. He was lovely and really friendly

When I visited the renter aunt at Astley we were served by a young lady called Mia who was very pleasant and efficient. She made our evening very pleasant and would return again.

Good food and good service reasonable prices

On arrival at Applewood today, our usual table was occupied.
Shortly after sitting down Connor approached us and told us that our usual table was now available and he had cleaned it and got it ready for us.
Top notch service!
He is such a lovely young man.

Halle was our server today and as usual, polite and professional.
