This women helped in always to find the right part

Thank you to the Farol tyres department who got my car back on the road. With no way to remove my locking wheel nut, the team managed to remove my damaged tyre and replace it with a new one - something other garages told me they would be unable to do without the key! Very grateful to the team for their quick thinking and great service.

John Deere X350R
Two matters.
I bought a new X350R to replace my failing Countax C60. I knew that, without the rear rotary collecting brush the Countax possesses, I would lose the ability to stripe my lawn.
What I did not expect was a complete inability by the X350R to collect grass when it is damp - not wet - just damp. After using it for 30 minutes I realised it had stopped collecting and when I inspected the small shute, it was clogged. I cleared it but 15 minutes later it clogged again.
This mower seems good otherwise but unless you only use it when the lawn is DRY, it is not fit for purpose to cut and collect my 3 acre lawn.
Secondly, I bought it from Farol Twyford. I had good service in it being delivered and collected with full refund when I explained it was not suitable. BUT they charged me £660 to refit the sensor cable under the seat which stops the engine when the surface is bumpy. I had cut it as I did not want this operating as I have a bumpy lawn. Apparently the job took 4 hours.
I have now bought a new Countax C60 and the wet grass I cut today has been collected and my lawn striped.

Helpful guidance on converting to electric
I had been having problems with my ageing Stihl combi petrol motor, so I went along to Farol in Twyford and spoke with the salesman, Richard.
He informed me that Stihl supply a combi electric motor that would work with all the attachments I have invested in, so I could simply replace my old petrol motor without having to buy the hedge trimmer and long handled pruner attachments etc again. I took his helpful advice and I have this evening been trimming my hedges with my new, near silent, electric hedge trimmer. No more messing about with 2-stroke fuel, or disturbing the neighbours with the deafening noise of a petrol powered hedge trimmer !
I was very impressed with the service provided by Richard the salesman and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Farol.

Recently purchased a Husqvarna starter kit - a small battery powered mower and strimmer. The help and advice I received was first class, as was the equipment.
When I arrived on collection day my order was there already assembled, even had help to take it to my car.

Excellent products and service.
First time I’ve used Farol,we have a slightly unusual John Deere mower and not many people sell the spares/ service kits for these.Their website was easy to navigate,I was able to find the items that we required,the goods were delivered quickly (3 days) and they were packed well,the parts were spot on,genuine John Deere.All good,highly recommended.

No idea of customer service.
I bought some spare parts from them for a machine I own. They sent the parts to the wrong address and then when I finally received the parcel, found that one of the items was wrong. I phoned and informed them and said that I would like a refund for the incorrect item. They refused to refund my money unless I paid postage for the return. During my dealings with Farol, I spoke to 4 different people, all of whom promised to phone me back. Nobody did.
