I have nothing but praise for Designer Fireplaces and can't recommend them highly enough. My new electric fire suite was installed today and I am delighted with it. From my initial phone call with Harry through to fitting by Mick not forgetting Tilly in the office, the whole process was excellent. You will go along way to find such a professional business that really cares about its customers and attention to detail. Designer Fireplaces made my whole experience an absolute pleasure.

I bought a large Designer Fireplaces over mantel mirror in antique beeswax - it looks amazing! Plus from beginning to end the staff were so accommodating - from lovely Tilly in the office to the friendly delivery driver, who knew I was going to work so turned up at 9am. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly - the quality is sublime!

Just received a beautiful oak beam from Designer Fireplaces. Very happy with the beam which will look stunning once up. Customer service has been great - Tilly was very friendly and helpful throughout, as was our delivery driver.

Really impressed with every stage of our purchase. From the initial phone call asking for advice on the correct size of fire surround, which was dealt with in a friendly manner, to a prompt delivery. The delivery driver was polite and courteous and the fire surround surpassed our expectations when it arrived. The driver went through the fitting instructions which were much simpler than we had expected and now we are delighted with how it looks around our fireplace. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company

I bought the Rowton electric fireplace suite but made a mistake measuring my chimney breast opening. Tilly organised a new fire and replacement back panel and hearth to be delivered at no cost to me. She then organised a fitter at short notice when we realised we weren’t up to the task ourselves. He was brilliant. The fireplace is stunning and the workmanship perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

Ordered Waney Edge Rustic Square Oak Beam in November. Designer Fireplaces gave me a delivery date and estimated time (only a couple of days from ordering). Item arrived as per date and within timeframe given. A lovely piece of wood, exactly as shown on the website, and is now in pride of place over my fire. Would 100% use this company again.

A really great family fireplace company,my old fireplace only had a marble hearth and a gas fire,we took all tjis out and Mick came and fitted the lot,surround,hearth back plate and new electric fire,l was going to have a gas fire but my local plumber advised against that as 90% of your heat goues up the flue.
So ,see the photos 2 of an earlier stage in our lounge and the other 2/12/25 with christmas in mind.

Ordered a complete suite, solid oak mantle, cast iron surround, marble hearth and an electric fire.
A very comprehensive website allowed me to order a pack of wood samples to help choose the colour and finish before the final order.

Designer Fireplaces are amazing! This is the second time we have ordered a marble fireplace for one of our sons. Tilly is so very efficient in her use of the CAD package and was able to ensure the marble fireplace was made to our specific measurements due to us installing a flueless gas fire. The fireplaces are beautifully made and the fitting service is second to none.
We would highly recommend Designer Fireplaces and do so on a regular basis. Both of our sons are really happy with the finished product. Thank you 🙏🏻

Purchased two limestone fireplaces from this company, spending more than £2k. Nice looking product but hearth is poorly made. The hearth is two slabs of material bonded together with pieces of offcut stone stuck underneath. I had to replace that at an extra cost to me of £168 during fitting as it couldn’t stand the weight of the plumber kneeling on it when on a bed of wet cement. It snapped into two. I questioned the quality of the product then but got nowhere. The second hearth has also snapped into 2 pieces under the weight of a normal size 10 female. I had a recent issue with a broken crossbar component when one end dropped on the floor as i lifted it. I didn't hit it against anything and to my knowledge, nothing has broken it. I contacted this firm to ask if they would consider replacing the part for free but the treatment of a loyal customer who has spent thousands of pounds is to ignore them. I phoned just now to ask if my email has been received and got a rude response from Tilly saying she can’t speak about it and I’ll get a letter from her Legal team. When i said hello and gave my name, she just sharply jabbed "Yes?" Leaving me quite taken aback. She can’t put me through to the Legal team and can’t give any timeframe. Nor can she respond to my email to even let me know that she has received it and is seeking advice from her Legal team. Very disappointing. Happy to take your money but will not do the right thing when there is a problem. To follow on from this, I received an email from her manager accusing ME of upsetting his staff! Their calls are not recorded so instead of picking up the phone and apologising to ME, the customer, he took one side of the story and went on the attack. Again, disappointing, as i'm a very reasonable person and this matter could have been resolved far faster and more amicably than it has been. To be fair, the manager did improve the experience from this point onwards and produced a number of professional correspondance that were well constructed. He also concisely provided the information i had requested but that Tilly didn't provide. Had she done this in the first place, she could have saved me a lot of distress and delay. I didn't get the outcome I wanted but the fireplace is no good to me as it is broken so I've had to buy a replacement part for another £225.

I ordered the Waney Edge Straight oak fire surround with Italian rigel marble hearth and back panel. The customer service and installation were both excellent and I was so pleased that it was possible to adapt the dimensions of the surround, which is against a flat wall, to give sufficient depth for an inset fire to be fitted. I am thrilled with my beautiful fireplace and would highly recommend this company.

I ordered the rustic curved corbel heritage oak mantel and shelf, it was made to measure and I can't fault the service provided by deaigner fireplaces. It is a very beautiful mantel and I am over the moon with it.
Customer service was excellent, I asked a lot of questions and Tilly was very patient with me.... delivery was also very quick.
Would definitely recommend to anyone and I would buy from them again.

I have no hesitation in recommending these folks. Although I found so many choices overwhelming at first, I was guided through the choices by a very experienced and helpful adviser and ended up with a design I was very happy with. I can strongly recommend using their fitting service. The fitter was friendly, tidy and clearly very knowledgeable. Very happy overall!

This is not true! It was a telephone conversation
That took place between the advisor and myself
The company’s false and fabricated reply to try and uphold company’s reputation? By falsifying The actual form of communication ? Which took place!
My comments are truthfull and accurate.
The response from this company actually exposes them as dishonest and totally un -able to truthfully acnowlege shortfalls of their advisor.
The public can read between the lines they are not fools?
The sequence of communication and flow of questions and answers was obviously spoken over the telephone and not email or should I suggest several fabricated emails would have had to have occurred

I am very happy with my purchase. Checked the full dimensions with the company before purchasing to make sure it was right for me. Product was exactly as described.
We had a few challenges putting it up due to our uneven chimney breast but a little bit of adjusting was all that was required.
Good quality and beautiful. Looks wonderful over my fireplace.
