Between the constant changes to policies about YOUR accounts and then lies that are told, holding your check for an ENTIRE WEEK even though I've been a client for 7 years....come one. The check was from a GLOBAL COMMODITY and it wasn't even over $1,000. By the way....y'all have done this to me EVERY...SINGLE...WEEK...of 2025. This wasn't a 2024 thing. So I'm done being your client. I'll go to Wells Fargo instead.

we have been members since the beginning....transferred from the old Intel Credit Union back in 1991!!!
First Tech about 10 years ago was AWESOME!! They cared, they had PLENTY of staff on hand. Now I'm being generous with 2 stars. The Beaverton location is HORRIBLE!!!! NO STAFF, LONG WAITS, NO EMPLOYEES STICK AROUND so they don't know you by name anymore. I hear that other local credit uniions still have that fmaily feel...may be time to shop around after 3 decades of this place.
If I were out shopping for a bank/credit union today this place is a "HUGE PASS"...Do not join......you will be dissappinted.

This location is awful, for sure (aside from the way they do things here being incredibly slow, you can actually walk up behind the “experience professionals” or whatever made up name they gave them and see their computer screens as they enter in other people's personal banking information), but it isn’t just that. Service here has tanked over the past couple years. My list of complaints is long - canceling my insurance without talking to me first, sending deposits into the drive-through (when it existed) and waiting 15 minutes without acknowledging my presence, showing me other member’s information on their monitors (like actually turning the screen around, not just because of the layout of the new branch), not being able to understand how a DBA works, telling me people I don’t know are on my account when they weren’t, inability to total a deposit, etc. There is more than this, but you get the idea. I truly have feared I’d wake up and they would have lost my information, showing a zero balance in my account because they are so poorly ran anymore, and the website has been so glitchy. I do not trust them with my money anymore. I have put up with a lot from them for a very long time, but I am currently looking for a new credit union and will switch as soon as I find one. DO NOT BANK HERE. You will regret it.

We applied for both a car loan and a home mortgage. We got the car loan, VERY SATISFIED, and the home mortgage went elsewhere due to a sizably better interest rate (just as these were bouncing around). Our loan officer was willing to extend the pre-qual on the mortgage loan until the other one closed. Very professional.
