Great Caucasus Trip
The trip was excellent with good hotels, good food and plenty of sightseeing. I was very pleasantly surprised with Baku, very modern and clean. The visit to the wineries in Georgia was enjoyable with tasting of great wines. The selection of restaurants gave me the opportunity to sample many of the local specialties. The transfer at the borders from one country to the next was without problems with the guide and driver awaiting my crossover. I would recommend that the water show(fountains, colors and music) in Tbilisi should not be missed.

We had absolutely amazing experience…
We had absolutely amazing experience with Flo tours. We got picked up at Istanbul airport in a much bigger and better van than we expected. The bus was extremely comfortable, roomy, excellent air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi. Our three Adult children enjoyed the Wi-Fi and my wife and I enjoyed researching our next site. Our tour guide, Ugar, was amazing: extremely accommodating, polite, knowledgeable, generous, and friendly. We had 18 day private tour, from Istanbul and ending Cappadocia. We were very interested in archaeological and Uygar was extremely knowledgeable. We would book again with Flo Tours and refer others to do so.

Greece with Flo Tours
This was my second time taking a tour with Flo Tours and it was great. My highlights were their familiarity with the local culture and cuisine. My concerns were the limited to no WiFi at our hotels and issues with hot water. With the said, I'd definitely tour with them again.

Great tour, but how lunches were handled was unacceptable
I really enjoyed the tour guides and learning about Greece! I feel like I really was able to see the country.
My main complaints are that we spent hours (4 hours) on the bus to most locations and that we were forced to wait until well after 3pm to eat lunch (we had breakfast around 7:30am most days). When we finally stopped for lunch, we were not given any choice as to what we wanted to eat. The tour guides stopped us at specific restaurants that they probably made deals with and then charged us 13 euros for meals. After the first time this happened, I started buying my food from shops when we stopped for the bathroom or making sandwiches during breakfast. Other than that, I had a great trip.

Antwoord van Flo Tours
Hi,
I am so sorry to her that we could not meet your expectations for the lunches served during your Greece trip. We always offer multiple choices on our regular small group tours. Your group was a private organization group and it was 120 passengers total. When the group size is this large, unfortunately it is not possible to offer options during meals as it would take a long time to cater different requests. Therefore, the meals were pre-selected with the group leaders and prepared before the group arrived at the restaurants. That is the only reason your guides stopped at certain restaurants. Not all restaurants can serve a meal to 100+ passengers at the same time. It needs a lot of preparation. 13 Euros is approx.15 usd and it is very reasonable for a 3 course lunch in Greece.
I hope you have enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and dinners at the hotels. We would love to see you on one of our small group tours to experience the local cuisine with a variety of dishes you can choose from.
Kind Regards,
Shebby
