I recently had the opportunity to experience a flight sim last weekend, and I have to say that it was absolutely incredible. The level of realism and attention to detail was truly impressive, and I felt like I was actually flying a plane.

One of the highlights of the experience was the help and guidance I received from Paul, who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He was able to answer all of my questions and was instrumental in helping me feel comfortable and confident in the simulator.

Overall, I highly recommend this flight sim experience to anyone who is interested in aviation or is looking for a unique and exciting adventure. Paul's expertise and professionalism, combined with the high-quality equipment, made for a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you, Paul, for making it such a great one!

It was an absolute joy to spend another two hours in the simulator (yes, done it before and will be back for more). From entering the flight plan, checking the weather, taking off and flying a sector; to dealing with unexpected problems in-flight, flying the approach, doing 'go around' and a 'touch and go' and then diverting without using autopilot to land at an alternate airport, you will cover it all. Paul's expertise (an A320 Captain) and understanding of what you want to get from the session, coupled with his great sense of humour, makes this a brilliant experience you will never forget.

I’m 16 and I want to be a pilot so I did this for the experience. The sim was fantastic and really thrilling. The two instructors, Paul and Ryan were really helpful, funny and very experienced. The flight itself was really accurate and fun and they gave me good career advice. I would highly recommend anyone that is interested in aviation to give this a go as it is such good fun.

Terrific experience with Paul. Real privilege to be sat behind the controls of a A320 and 'having a go' - I'd recommend this to anyone with even just a passing interest in what goes on in the cockpit of a commercial aircraft. Money very well spent!

Unique experience where you get to enjoy flying the A320 as close to real life as possible. Perfect gift for flight experiences, or if you are really serious they offer the Simpilot programme to take things to the next level. Highly recommended!

Bought as a birthday present for my husband who loved it. Paul was a brilliant and patient instructor. Lots to absorb but really enjoyable experience. Will book again as it was so good.

I got in touch with Alphatech at very short notice to prepare for a sim check with Aer Lingus. Alphatech went to great efforts to get me in and gave me superb training. They were incredibly supportive before during and after the training, I couldn't recommend more highly. Thanks Paul and the team, I got the job!

The one hour flight simulator experience was really enjoyable and highly informative. The instructor was great and made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his knowledge and eagerness to explain the working of the airbus would recommend this to anyone wanting to try a simulator experience you won't find a better team than alpha tech.

I had my Public Experience hour yesterday and can't rate this company highly enough. No matter your level of experience or interest, they will ensure you are well prepared and able to get the most out of it. From your initial enquiry through to booking etc, they're really speedy to respond to you and again, to help if you're unsure about anything. I'm disabled and was concerned on my ability to be able to manage some aspects of the cockpit, but again, everything was done to not only make me comfortable, but also to facilitate my needs over and above my expectations.

Absolutely HIGHLY recommend AlphaTech to anyone remotely considering having a go!!

Really enjoyable hour - my only "complaint" is that the hour went so quickly and left me wanting more! That said, we packed a lot into the hour (several circuits with touch and go's, a go-around, a bird strike with the loss of an engine and a TCAS avoidance scenario) and the pre-briefing ensured the session was aligned to what I was hoping to get out of it. I'm now considering the SimPilot option, so be warned, you will want to go back!

Being a 65 year old with no piloting experience so Paul (my instructor) set the level of my course perfectly. I had a great time in the cockpit of an Airbus A320 trying to land at two different airports. Great fun.

I took a group of 11 RAF cadets to AlphaTech last week, and we were not disappointed! The AlphaTech team were very welcoming & informative. The simulator itself is as realistic as it gets! Well worth a visit.
I would suggest that if you are taking larger groups of people, to maybe have a parallel activity arranged, as it can be a long day in between sim slots.

The whole experience was incredible, from the very first few minutes there I felt I was in experienced hands. The realism was amazing and very soon I was practicing take offs and three landings. The level of instruction was just at the right level for myself who had only previously had some Microsoft Flight Simulator experience.I would certainly be keen to return for a repeat experience. I was glad I took the two hour flight experience as it allowed me to do so much more. I came home feeling really satisfied with a brilliant time on the A320 simulator. 😊😊

Excellent experience at Alpha Tech. Paul is a very good host and instructor. The Simulator is also excellent with a level of realism I cannot praise highly enough. A thououghly enjoyable experience.

I was finishing my fATPL training just as the covid 19 pandemic began, and it’s fair to say my MCC knowledge has slipped.

Following my first two 4 hour sessions with Paul, I feel confident I’m on the right path to bringing myself back up to scratch. The sim itself was great and we flew from Bucharest to Vienna. Paul is a great instructor, with a genuine enthusiasm and empathy to help out, working up from first principles.

I’d recommend the affordable sim pilot course to anyone in a similar position to myself. I’m looking forward to more sessions.

I did an hour flight experience with AlphaTech. I was quite unfamiliar with the a320, but the guys at AlphaTech were amazing at explaining the systems and how the aircraft handles. We first started a short flight from Leeds to Dublin. There we did a standard approach and a touch and go, with live weather conditions. Then we went around and had a challenging raw-data approach and full stop landing.
It was a thoroughly amazing experience and I look forward to the next time I head up. I recommend AlphaTech to anybody interested in a flight sim experience.

Received this as a Christmas gift. Had a brilliant experience thanks to Paul. Was really looking forward and was not disappointed. Guided expertly by Paul the whole way through. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and would recommend to one and all.

This was a Christmas gift from my wife after many months of saying how much I would love to give it a go every time we passed the hanger on the Comber Road. It was certainly worth the wait and a big thank you to Ryan who nursed me through the experience. I learned a lot in the 90 minutes due largely to Ryan’s patience and genuine interest in bringing me down the learning curve. The bug has bitten and I will be back again. Too late to ever become an accomplished pilot but more eager than ever to learn. Thank you Ryan and the AlphaTech team for an awesome experience.
