Faulty battery
Phoned up explaining the problem I had with cordless strimmer and I was wondering if it was still under warranty , said it was faulty battery , it came next day excellent service
Great service from Flymo
Great service from Flymo (once I could get through to them). My initial contact via their website went unanswered for a week. I then telephoned and although it took 25 minutes to get through, my warranty claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Four days later from the call, and a brand new replacement lawnmower has arrived. I just hope this one lasts longer!
If I could rate it out of ten, it would be a zero.
I’ve had 2 Flymo’s and they’ve both broke in 1 year. They both broke for no reason, they just switched off on their own. The first one should’ve been a red flag. Absolutely terrible. Save your money. Don’t buy from Flymo.

bought a flymo easiglide 330 2 years ago, today it packed in , stripped it down to discover loose fitting on motor coiling caused the wire to burn through, easy fix just go to flymo order a new motor, guess what they DO NOT supply these motors any more , i cant even buy a motor for a 2year old lawnmower from the useless incompetent manufacturers own shop, i CAN buy one from ebay, genuine part for £75 so why cant i buy one from flymo at the £54 list price after all its there dodgy manufacturing that caused the problem in the first place
Cheap and nasty construction
Bought a Flymo hover mower thinking it would be good for a 72 year old woman. The worst lawnmower I have ever used. It may hover if you have a bowling green to mow but not if your lawn is even slightly uneven. Used it twice and the lugs holding the handle to the mower kept popping out and one broke on the second use. I really cannot recommend Flymo mowers to anyone

For 3 years on the run I have bought a replacement flymo.
They have been cheapend in construction to a point past viability, trustworthyness or in fact reliable usefulness. Grass box pitiful, can't reliably collect the clippings.
Prior to this, I had in succession, three flymo that lasted 3 years each and I thought that poor!
Avoid this product. Wonderfully convienent but without reliability or respect for the environment, let alone the customer. If you are happy to buy a new one each year, fine, but so wasteful.
Waiting 4 weeks and still nothing!
My Flymo EasiStore Battery Mower broke 4 weeks ago. (26.5.22). The handle attachment on the body of the mower broke one one side, so the handle wont now attach.... There has been no abnormal wear and tear to account for the problem. On investigating... I noticed that there was only one screw where there should have been 4, which explains why the one remaining screw sheared off. I sent pictures and I asked for a repair or a replacement. Contacted them immediately with no response except generic automatic reply. Re-contacted 10 days ago, same reply and no other contact from them. I rang today 23.6.22 and the message I got was that the department is closed even though I called at 10.15am - within their specified hours. Incidentally one of the batteries died a few weeks back but they sent a new one which works. Its now the 30th June and still no response from Flymo. One star is too good for this company. Do not buy their products.!!

Contacted via email 4 times with the same auto reply " working from home due to covid 2 days reply" or is it NO Reply.
The batteries have both completely died so the Mower is now no more a lawnmower just an ornament. The mower is only 15 months old and on its second lot of batteries. Two years warranty and no reply contact from them. AVOID BUYING A FLYMO unless you are lucky enough to get the one out of ten that keeps working.
The Flymo Lite was obviously not…
The Flymo Lite was obviously not intended for a 5'2" woman to handle! So heavy and I still haven't mastered the art of collapsing the handle to store. It's not a patch on the old one which gave a better cut, was light to handle and stored more neatly. A shorter lead meant I had to buy an extension lead - all for a 40 foot lawn. Disappointed to say the least. Sorry Flymo not your best effort.
Flimsy Quality
Just bought a Flymo 360 C lawn mower from Wickes in Cardiff. The machine works ok but The Grass Box Assembly is Cheap & Flimsy & does not stay together when mowing. Extremely poor quality avoid as the Product is a waste of money.
Appalling Customer Service
Trying in vain to contact Customer Service. Have filled in the form in which it states that within 2 days will have a response. Telephoned and told that it must be dealt with by the form. He acknowledged that my form had been received. But 12 days on from that phone call still nothing after a total of 3 weeks. Presume that Flymo may well be closing and their parent company Huskavana taking over. Now notice that their score on Trustpilot, at 1.4, is the lowest I have ever encountered. I was hoping that my experience was exceptional not the norm.

The Flymo Hover Vac 250 can (in my opinion) be rated as “okay”. However, the one BIG letdown is the poor quality of some of the parts…..for example, the handle is only secured to the body of the mower by two plastic pins, which are NOT up to the task they were designed for. The pins constantly pop out, which means that the handle comes off. Then….the pin breaks and becomes unusable. You can purchase replacement pins online at a cost of £4.99 for 2. However, this wouldn’t be an issue in the first place, if the pins were made of a superior materiel….and not cheap plastic
To add insult to injury, I wrote to Flymo via their website a number of days ago, but I didn’t even receive any response. This also happened when I registered the Flymo Hover Vac 250 for the Warranty. I still haven’t received any response or even an acknowledgement for this. I think I will stick to buying a quality brand from now on…from a manufacturer that actually cares about their customers.
This may seem like a small problem, but when it makes my mower unusable....then it's a big issue.

The customer service is awful. Tried contacting them numerous times by e-mail reply is "we are all working from home due to Covid hours are 9.00 to 1400 hrs" I've had this at least 10 times . My lawn mower does not work,l bought 9 months ago. Absolutely useless product and more useless customer service. DO NOT BUY A FLYMO
Terrible product quality and customer service
Product failed after a three x uses. Customer service is absolutely atrocious. I think the agents are doing their best so it must be the company. Waiting 2.5 weeks to get a response re my issue. Three calls to customer services to chase and still no response from the warranty department. Was also told by customer services that their warranty department is very busy with a large backlog. What does that tell you about the quality of their products. Flymo used to have great products but they seem to have gone down the cheap and nasty route.
Style over substance. Practically useless.
My trusty Qualcast of many years happy use handed in its dinner-pail with a motor failure. Fair play, after about 15 years. Needing a quick replacement I bought a Flymo 340R "Easistore" from Argos. Ostensibly, this had the same premise - rotary blade, and grass collection. However, the Flymo design just doesn't to the second bit - collection - in any meaningful way at all. At best it makes a half-hearted effort, then blocks up whilst making unhappy noises. I had to go over the lawns again with a Black and Decker scarifier on a high setting, to collect what the Flymo left behind - which was pretty much everything.
To be fair, the thing looks pretty, and you could do worse as an ornament. But for cutting the grass you'd do better to borrow granny's teeth!
Technically, it hasn't failed and therefore a refund seems problematic, which leaves me with the dilemma - have to go over the lawn twice each time or cut my losses and buy a mower that actually works properly. Arguably I could cut my losses by flogging this abortion on ebay - but I couldn't be that cruel. This is DEFINATELY one to avoid.

As others have noted, there is a battery problem - one battery has just stopped working rendering the mower useless. Really difficult to find a replacement battery. Avoid Flymo at all costs. Easier to purchase a new mower

I keep using Flymos email service to contact them and Ive phoned them. The Flymo Vac3000 that was bought for me as a present and developed a hole in the bag as I was using it. Zero acknowledgement. Zero feedback. Just total silence from this company.

Avoid unless you like raking up grass...
Bought an Easistore 300R this summer and am extremely disappointed. It blows over half of the cut grass around, I spend more time raking up afterwards than cutting. Customer service awful, avoid if you actually want your grass cut and collected (like most mowers do...)
