Got my bridesmaids dresses from Folkster, I ordered two Terra gowns in the shade Sage. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’d bought them online and didn’t get to see them in person before purchasing. I needn’t have worried, the dresses are beautiful. The fabric is flattering and high quality. My bridesmaids were different heights and body types but the dresses looked stunning on both of them - only a few minor alterations needed in terms of hem length etc. I’d definitely recommend Folkster to anyone!

I recently bought a mother of the bride dress in folkster Dundrum, the staff are very friendly and helpful,i would definitely recommend, they have an outfit for every occasion,your sure to get suited here, really enjoyed the experience here and will definitely go back

Made a bridesmaid appointment. When we turned up, we were told all the nice rooms were busy but one mother of the bride was finishing up so it wouldn't be long. Eventually moved to a different section When it became obvious that group weren't finishing. Was brought a few dresses in the colour we requested. We were then very much left to our own devices. No help or guidance offered. The girl called back and we asked for a particular dress, she went looking for about 30 mins. Size range was very poor and one of the bridesmaids was unable to try on the right size dress in any colour. No suggestions regarding accessories or shoes made. When we decided on dress, girl realised that one of the sizes was not available. When we asked if it could be in the kilkenny shop she said she would ask there. Quite a wait later, kilkenny weren't answering her on the tablet so she said she would try ringing. Another wait. Dress not available. Offered a discount if we ordered the next size up, €20 to go towards alterations. Apparently the store is moving towards a more sustainable approach so no longer have the range of sizes available that they used to. Over all, lots of waiting and a disappointing outcome. Dresses are ordered with no shoes or accessories purchased

Customer service Is appalling. No one ever answers the phone. Or emails. Shame, as I love(ed) the shop.

Love this store! Staff are fab and so helpful. Bought bridesmaid dresses on their website and they were such good quality and really affordable. Had to change a size and the staff in the Dundrum store were incredibly helpful and sorted it. Would recommend!

I cannot thank Folksier and the team enough for their patience, kindness and over all soundness. I had an appointment in Kilkenny and the after care from Bridget was so seamless and stress free and never any bother! Thank you again for all your help you've made something extremely daunting super easy!

Went in last year to buy my bridesmaid dresses. They weren't helpful and a bit rude to be honest. I bought 2 dresses that I picked with my bridesmaids and when I brought them to be altered, I was told by the seamstress that the quality of the folkster dresses is bad and to be honest after seeing the way the material tore and threaded, I can't argue with that! They look nice on pics but that's about it

I just want to say a massive thank you to Brigid in Folkster.Between rescheduling appointments due to nasty Covid, Taking my calls whenever I requested and even being an agony aunt at times (god bless her she has the patience of a saint)! I cannot thank Folkster enough for this service from the minute we had our appointment we were taken care of . It is great to see a small Irish business have real down to earth women helping us stressed brides THANK YOU! I cannot wait to get Christmas shopping in dundrum!

My wife ordered five dresses to a value of £1400 from this store. They never arrived because they were stopped in customs regards payments of tax duty. They have kept our money and been polite but evasive when we have made enquiries. They have refused to refund and asked us to ensure the return of the goods we have never received. Has anyone had similar experiences with this store.

Shocking bridal service on second viewing. I had a great first viewing and found a dress that I loved but it was too small. This was noted with my measurements and I expected that when I went to the second viewing I would try on a bigger size. I was probably going to buy the dress afterall. On the second viewing I met a lovely girl who helped me select a number of dresses including the one that I liked. When it came to trying on the dress I had selected from my first viewing it turned out to be the small size..... that I tried on before. I asked for a bigger size and the manager informed me that they didn’t have a bigger size. I was very surprised as I thought I would be trying on a bigger size because to be honest why would I go back to try on the same one that didn’t fit me. This woman blamed a staff member that left and said they wouldn’t ever hold a size for trying on. To be honest this makes no sense. The manager also decided to put me with a girl that had 3 days experience which again makes NO SENSE, as I was going to probably buy a dress. This woman made an experience that should have been nice.. like my previous one with Gemma... a horrible one. I have decided not to buy here because I had such a bad experience. I would not recommended this for any bride that is looking for a decent service. Shocking is an understatement.

Good management would have made sure everything was in place before wasting my time traveling 2 hours.

Fab service, supportive team in Dundrum and online... and great products!

I want to really Thank Folkster for the service they have provided for my sister. My sister has had a stutter and a kind sales advisor Brigid has had such patience with dealing with her over the phone. We are just so impressed. It made my sister feel independent to be able to listened to and not rush over the phone! THANK YOU FOLKSTER! empowering women all over *****

I visited the Dundrum store for the first time on Sunday 13th December. The stock in store was so gorgeous, I could have wandered for a lot longer if I had the time. The customer service I received was fantastic, it was so easy to chat to the girls and they had such a professional yet friendly manner.

I love folkster and their clothes! Other than that, they have the nicest costumer service I have ever experienced! This is from now on my favorite shop!
