I had a bad experience with forkobo
I had a bad experience with forkobo, my girlfriend introduced it to me and I started August 15, I waited for another 30 days for store set-up, my payout was supposed to be October 15 but it shows in withdrawal page after additional 10
Days which was October 25 and I initiated a withdrawal and till now, I didn't receive any money in my account. 19days without payment and still counting. Another bad part was that, I sent a mail twice and no response, I used WhatsApp chat bot is not resolving anything and I called the customer service line, it was saying I would be transferred to an agent and the call hung up. Please and please I am not doing anymore, I want my refund afterall I haven't even received any payment since August that I paid. Thank you

I don’t even know what to think of Forkobo because I haven’t had a good experience, no payout money, still waiting for my refund for almost 2 months now. It is gradually looking like a scam to me until I receive my refund.

Still trying to figure out how this work. I can see so many people saying their payout was on time but my has been pending since 24th September. And another one due 24th October. Don’t really know if there are special people that is meant to receive their payout on time because as for me it’s not working out. It’s really frustrating and disappointing. Let me also add this, I think what they do is that they will use your money for business and when you questions about your payout they will suggest you ask for a refund after holding your money for months which don’t make sense.
My experience
To keep it concise, I’d like to state that:
1. The program runs smoothly on web but might need an app upgrade for better user experience.
2. Delay in payout Is the primary cause of unrest amongst subscribers. To address this, users with over 2 weeks delay in payout remittance should be on priority list, updated on the state of their payout and possible payout date. For instance, I requested payout on the 6th of October and I’m yet to receive payment and I do not get any update regarding the situation unless I write an email to the team. Better measures should be put in place.
3. The WhatsApp line, live chat and call numbers are totally unreachable. These medium if properly activated would allow users get real time insight on inquiries.
4. Subscribers are partners and should receive timely updates on the state of their accounts especially on payouts, unmet targets and relevant information
Poor customer service, non responsive and unclear why my payout is still pending over 40days now
Poor customer service, you people don’t read all the emails sent because I have sent several emails about my payout and will only get response for one after several messages. It feels like you people have a template to acknowledge and don’t really read the messages and give feedback as promised. I have been waiting to get a response that was supposed to be between 3-7days business days. It’s been over 10 business days. I’m even tired of sending emails, I don’t know how to feel cos I’m more than frustrated not getting payout, it’s going to almost two months and I have two payouts pending. I need money to pay bills here, I feel like my money is tied down. I even feel bad for my friend who is pregnant and needs her money to shop but guess what? You people haven’t even paid her first payout for her two stores. I see people saying they are paying them so does it mean you are attending to certain people and ignoring some of us because we have only two stores. Something I joined with excitement and hope has completely drained the excitement with being ignored and poor service/communication.
Update as of 11.11.2025
Forkobo is yet to refund my money since I dropped a review here they quickly sent me an email that my account is suspended and will be closed. It took them less than 24hrs to deactivate my account. What was their reason? They said I’m putting them under pressure and breached their policy, a policy that was updated less than a month before I dropped my first review. Talking about your policy, you haven’t even followed the same policy you crafted in terms of your payout and refund timeline. You mentioned that you are not an investment platform, but you stated in your contract that if the expected monthly return of a customer is not reached within two months, their management fee will be refunded. So you think that people invest their money in a platform and shouldn’t expect returns?
I only got one payment in August and I added another store because I thought I would get returns monthly but boom a terrible mistake trusting you guys to deliver monthly. My friend who has two stores since she subscribed in July has never received any payout and she’s already tired of sending emails because the result is your AI generated response. Forkobo, she’s not just quiet because there are a lot of us who are ready to escalate this issue, this is people’s hard earned money trying to have other streams of income to meet up with their monthly expenses but you people have chosen to over look these people and act like they don’t matter.
It’s been 12 business days since my refund was initiated, and I still haven’t received my money. This is my management fee you are refunding, you said you are deducting my first payout from it which is not an issue and refunding the balance. Why the delay in doing a transaction that won’t take more than a day because I received my first payout here in Canada in less than 24hrs. Please don’t tell me to send details because from the day you closed my account you asked for that already. I sent you my bank details so do not use that to stall further. I am not sending you guys an email again but escalating this further with other people who are also disappointed at your services.
Please refund my money instantly to avoid escalating this issue further. I don’t know why you make people feel you can seize their funds, you also don’t like feedback to improve your service. Please refund my money!!!
Very Disappointing Experience with Forkobo
I joined Forkobo to help manage and set up my e-commerce store after being told I would receive full guidance and that each store could earn around $450–$500 per month depending on sales. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from what was promised.
After my store went live in August, I never received the promised onboarding call or any clear explanation of how my store works. Forkobo also refuses to share what products are being sold, saying it’s part of their “intellectual property.” This lack of transparency has been very frustrating.
What’s worse is the delay in payouts. My first payout has been pending for over a month, and despite several follow-ups, I keep receiving vague responses with no clear date for payment. Now, a second sales period has already ended, and I still haven’t received my first payout.
The earnings have also been much lower than expected roughly $263 per store for this month after deductions, which is far below the range mentioned during registration. For two consecutive months, sales have been consistently low without any clear explanation. I urgently need my payout, as this delay has already taken far too long.
Overall, my experience with Forkobo has been marked by poor communication, delayed payouts, and low transparency. As a first-time client, this has been very disappointing. I would not recommend Forkobo until they improve their communication, payout reliability, and honesty about performance expectations.
