House move
What was good: friendly and hardworking staff. Good communication with staff.
What could be improved: the team arrived late on day 1 due to a vehicle issue at the depot, this put them behind time for our move, which impacted on our plans; only a 2-man team (instead of 3), combined with late arrival meant the packup took too long and went on till 2000/2100 each night. The company booked the workers into a hotel 50+ miles away and off route meaning they did not deliver until 1100, and with only two workers we had to help offload which didn’t finish until 1930. The company would not send any additional workers to speed up the process resulting in delays to us. They did not place any protective sheeting into either property during the move.
Overall ok, the delays are frustrating and I don’t think were the fault of the 2-man moving team, I believe it to be a management issue.

Dear Andrew,
Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback.
We are pleased to hear that you found our team friendly, hardworking and communicative throughout the move. We also appreciate your recognition that many of the issues you experienced were not a reflection of the crew themselves.
We are sorry for the delays caused by the vehicle issue on the first day. While unforeseen mechanical problems can occasionally occur, we understand the knock-on effect this had on your plans. The hotel arrangements were made to comply with drivers' hours regulations, although we appreciate the impact this had on the delivery schedule.
Your comments regarding crew numbers and floor protection have been noted and will be reviewed internally. We are always looking to improve our planning and operational processes.
Thank you again for your balanced feedback, and we wish you all the very best in your new home.

The moving team was very helpful and enthusiastic. As my move was not over a great distance, I requested that they avoid detailed packing. They appeared careful when handling fragile items. All belongings arrived safely and undamaged. Overall, I had a very positive experience.

A great team!
Steve and the crew, the guys who moved my stuff into my new house, were great - friendly, positive, hardworking and 'willing'. Nothing was too much. They made a stressful day as easy as it could be.
Keith in the office was also great - responsive to emails and very flexible. I really appreciated it all.

This is hands down the best money spent
This is hands down the best money spent during our house move. The whole process made the house move stress free, starting with Keith completing the house survey, arrangements of completion date and the move itself. On the day, Shaun and his team arrived and loaded our house in two and a half hours. The van was unloaded into the respective bedrooms in the new property in around 1 and a half hours. I would highly recommend Fox removals to anyone.

The packers were very good
The packers were very good. Kieran quietly got the job done and Lewis was very thoughtful and attentive, even getting some bottled water for us when we reached our destination. As it was a mad rush in the end some boxes were not labelled which caused some confusion and a few items were left behind. Overall happy with the service.

We are pleased to hear that you were happy with the overall service and that Kieran and Lewis made such a positive impression. We will be sure to pass on your kind comments to them. Small gestures, such as making sure customers have access to refreshments after a long moving day, can make a real difference, and it is great to hear that Lewis went the extra mile.
We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the labelling of some boxes and the items that were left behind. Whilst moving days can sometimes become fast paced, we understand how important clear labelling and thorough checking are in helping customers settle into their new home smoothly. We will share your comments with the team as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our service.

Sean,Kieran and Jamie...a wonderful crew
Sean, Kieran and Jamie were a fantastic team ( sorry if I spelt any names wrong)....lovely people who really care about what they do and handled our possessions with care. We had a lot to move into a house without easy access. The job had been under quoted by another branch of Fox's, both for lorry space and people needed.... Sean resolved all of the issues on our behalf, which we were so grateful for. On moving in day extra (necessary) team arrived to help unload the 2 lorries... one was quoted, but would never have fitted all of our stuff. A massive thank you to the amazing team who made our move experience the best it could be.

Caroline, thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and detailed review. We are delighted to hear Sean, Kieran and Jamie made such a positive impression and handled your belongings with such care and professionalism throughout the move.
We also really appreciate your understanding regarding the challenges around the original quotation and access at the property. We are very pleased Sean was able to resolve the issues quickly and ensure the additional support and vehicle capacity were arranged to keep everything on track for you. Moving into a property with difficult access and a large volume to relocate is never easy, so it is wonderful to hear the team helped make the experience as smooth and positive as possible.
Your kind words will mean a great deal to everyone involved. Thank you again for choosing Fox and for placing your trust in us during such an important day.
The team were all very friendly
The team were all very friendly and helpful, they did introduce themselves but I can't remember their names, they arrived around 8am and were loaded just after 10am
They stopped uploading when we had rain so my furniture and bed did not get wet, which was much appreciated.
They worked hard all day.
