Sales team are at the best … disorganised!
I made a special journey to Nottingham to view a property for sale with their Nottingham branch.
No one turned up & I was given an excuse that they had been unable to contact me to cancel, hard to believe as they had both my mobile number & email address.
Given this experience I would never list a property with them, or arrange a future viewing.

I had a great experience with Frank Innes Nottingham when selling my home and I’d definitely recommend using them. From the start they were amazing, Charlie and Morgan in particular have been fantastic! Always answering my never ending questions, keeping me updated throughout the process and offering reassurance and advice whenever needed. Helped me find a buyer really quickly too as they were really quick at responding to enquiries for viewings.

I told them I needed a quick sale and they did everything they could to ensure that happened. In my experience I found the team to be really lovely people who genuinely care about your situation and how to help, which makes all the difference. I’ve been told selling a house is a stressful process but I didn’t find that to be the case with their help. Any (very minor) issues I had were quickly responded to and resolved.

Thank you again, and I’ll see you again when it’s time for the next house move!

I went to Frank Innes Nottingham branch who was a breath of fresh air after a bad experience with a previous agent. Ellessa was brilliant at helping me find my new home. She could negotiate across the whole chain I was in, getting a good final purchase price. Friendly and v experience. Charlie dealt with the sale of my home. He really chivvied the purchaser and my solicitors along the process. He is very experienced in this house selling malarkey. I was a sole seller/buyer and at times the whole process overwhelmed me. Both Ellessa and Charlie could spin the plates while staying calm and empathetic. I honestly would have had a meltdown if it wasn’t for those two advisers. Morgan also played a huge role in dealing with some of other issues I faced along the way. I am so pleased I happened on Frank Innes Nottingham. I’m recommending it to any friends about to start the house sale/buying process. Don’t go anywhere else. Thank you Ellessa, Charlie and Morgan ❤️

I am writing this review to raise awareness of a serious data protection issue involving Frank Innes Chesterfield.

On 3 November 2025, I was contacted by a stranger asking about how to claim back his deposit from Frank Innes. During the conversation, I discovered that my personal details — including my full name, address, contact information, occupation, salary, and even my father’s details — had been included on this person’s tenancy agreement as if we were the lead tenant and guarantor. We have never rented this property, nor have we ever had any tenancy with Frank Innes.

This means our private information was shared with complete strangers without our consent, posing a serious risk of identity theft and fraud. I immediately raised a formal complaint and requested an urgent investigation into how this breach occurred, what steps were being taken to resolve it, and what safeguards would be put in place to prevent this from happening again.

A company handling sensitive personal data should take data protection seriously. I am extremely disappointed and concerned that such a significant breach could occur at all. I strongly urge Frank Innes and their parent company to review their data handling procedures and ensure proper training and oversight to protect their customers’ information.

Until this matter is properly addressed, I cannot recommend using Frank Innes Chesterfield.

They lost our key.

Left flat in coalville. Left clean with no damage! They reduced £450 from my deposit. Never again.

So as a Property Developer I would say I understand the game very well, however there is a BIG difference in the game, and the market? Don't get me wrong I had a few agents out to give me there assessment on this property. By far the duo team Niamh, and Beth at Frank innes were exceptional in every way. They had great knowledge on demographics, and gave me some really good ideas on how to maximise my rental returns. These two are the type ladies that every landlord needs to manage there rentals. They are honest, fair, not pushy, and very genuine.
I will definitely use these these ladies now, and in the near future.

Burton branch.
We used Frank Innes in Burton to manage our property that we rented out. We were really disappointed by them and feel they provided a service to the tenant not us the landlord.
They didn't keep us updated and we had to chase them for outcomes of any maintenance work being completed at the house. We seem to speak to different people on most occasions and it was whilst speaking to a member of staff that didn't know us or the property who let the cat out of the bag that our tenants had given notice and were going to be moving out. This was a complete surprise to us. We also established that they were working with the tenants to find a new property which they managed to do without us being asked to provide a reference to the new landlord.
All in all their service was either poor or non-exsistent and we felt they were very pro-tenant which is ironic because we were paying them full management fees each month. As a final frustration the tenants left the property in arrears with their rent.
This was our first experience as landlords and we felt let down by Frank Innes, the tenants and the Tenancy Agreement (law) which isn't worth the paper it's written on.
My advice would be find yourself a different letting agent.

From start to finish Tony Cotterill at Frank Innes West Bridgford and his team were truly professional, helpful and highly efficient.
Offering prudent advice and were most reassuring.
Frankly leaving their competitors in the shade.

They handled the sale of my late father’s home excellently, ensuring that all went seamlessly.

Dont go near this company with a barge pole....let a house through them, paid deposit and had a confirmed move in date...only to be informed 2 weeks before commencement that the property actually wasnt available... even though it was still being actively listed on rightmove
Requested deposit return...told it would take 3 to 5 workings days.. seeing is believing.

I’ve had a broken shower for about 5 days and was told by frank innes to alert it on the system and it will be fixed, the staff have been extremely unhelpful with resolving this problem as I have alerted it 5 times and still 5 days later haven’t had anyone contact me about getting my shower fixed. Every time I call someone working at frank innes it’s like it’s an inconvenience to them that my shower at a property they are responsible has broken.

I have had the best experience using frank innes to manage the rental of my property. Eden has been so amazing with open communication, finding the perfect tenants and on hand with any questions I have. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! Thank you Eden for always putting me at ease and being such a lovely and efficiently organised person!

Frank Innes via Gemma Bailey managed a 19 apartment property owned in Chesterfield for several years prior to our disposal in July of this year. The service offered was very good including assistance with the sale. Would recommend them to any landlord.

Izzy and Beth from Frank Innes have been brilliant. We approached them to rent our bungalow and in less than 24 hours a tenant was found. They provided a great service and kept us informed throughout the process. We were really impressed and would not hesitate to use them again.

Rented from the agency in nottingham. Horrible horrible, made me pay on the 28th but gave me the keys 3 days later, issues with the contract, bad attitude, slow process for the rent and at the end of tenancy they are trying to put a false claim against me to get money. I have proof of every false claim they did. Let's see if they can bully people in front of a judge. Avoid them in nottingham

Selling my late sister's house was difficult to say the least but Leah Allen at Frank Innes Derby excelled. Leah was professional, kept me informed throughout the long process, nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend Frank Innes Derby. Thank you so much.

Do not let them manage any of your rentals they don’t care they let the tenants wreck it

I recently rented a house through Frank Innes Lettings (Ashby branch) in May, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, the process was incredibly smooth and efficient, largely thanks to Izzy, who handled my tenancy.

Izzy was exceptionally professional, quick to respond, and maintained very high standards throughout. All documentation was perfectly clear, and communication was consistently on point, making what can often be a stressful process feel effortless.

This is definitely the worst agency in Chesterfield, be very careful when renting a property with them, I will never rent with them again!!!!
