Hi Victoria,
EDIT: When asked about the engine being looked at, you said it was when it was being MOT'd, that is why it was questioned as an MOT does not included inspecting the engine. You then changed it to when it was being serviced, which is completely different. As for hanging up when the call was ended, which I appreciate is how all calls end, that was certainly not the case here.
We have listened back to the calls from that day and think we know which call you are referring to. If this is the correct call, after reviewing it, we firmly believe that it was the attitude you displayed that led to you hanging up the call. Your Kia that you bought from us 17 months ago had developed a fault, you had taken it to a Kia dealer and they had told you that you were not going to be able to work on your car immediately. You asked us why this fault had happened, which we told you we didn't know as we couldn't see your car, I don't think this is an unreasonable response. You told us it had leaked hydraulic fluid, we said that this must be related to the clutch and you respond by saying you weren't a mechanic (we never assumed you were). You then proceeded to tell us that the RAC man told you that the garage would tell you it was the clutch, but it wasn't? At this point we were slightly baffled. The next thing you led with was that you would believe the RAC man before any garage. When you were asked (politely) why you wouldn't trust a garage. You then said the engine had been welded, when asked about this (which had no bearing on the current issue you faced, and you had never contacted us about this) you then hung up.
I am unsure what we did wrong, you were informed that the car was under manufacturers warranty, we had no contact from you in the 17 months you had owned the car, you had elected to have it serviced elsewhere previously, you had it MOT'd elsewhere and when the "welded" engine was pointed out to you previously you never made contact with us?
I believe that you had an issue with your car, and for that we are sorry, however, I don't think that your review even slightly covers what was said on the phone.
