Spoke to Ian on the phone which encouraged me to come into the store where I made the purchase with a good discount

Had a really good experience start to finish, from Ian, clearly explained everything needed for my mums new bed, all the times of mattresses, head boards, colours, styles and was just helpful would recommend.

I walked into the store to test out a sofa I had seen online & was greeted by a friendly member of staff who pointed us to a drinks machine we could help ourselves to inside the store. He then passed us to his colleague Ian. Ian was v attentive, friendly & easy to engage with. He offered me more options of the sofa I had chosen online (recliner & armrest storage) which I didn’t realise were options to consider. As the colour I had chosen wasn’t available, Ian brought me a pack of sample materials & colours to choose from as alternatives.He mentioned the discount being offered in store due the Gallows Corner closure. I was pleased as it meant I had room within my budget to upgrade my original chosen sofa. The overall experience was pleasant by all staff members & they even entertained my daughter whilst I was processing the purchase transaction with Ian. This is our second purchase of sofas at this store & v happy with the customer service. I highly recommend shopping in this store.

Shopped in the Romford branch and was served by Kam. Service was second to none. No pressure sales or anything like that. Was given the time and freedom to make our choices. Very happy with the service provided.

We ordered our sofas on 20/04/2026. The two sofas were due to be delivered on 29/03/29026 and on the day the, very nice delivery man, arrived with only one sofa. No explanation and no apology from any one from FV.
We raised a complaint about the sofa. It tipped over if you sat forward, with the recliner open. An, “independent,” assessor was sent and said there was no faults.
We went to the store because customer services said he, the manager, had the discretion to make a gesture of good will. This was 25/04/2026. He flatly refused but said he would make an allowance for non delivery of the second sofa. 28/04/2026 -
Called them, at the store, to find out when the second sofa would arrive. No contact since then. This is 8 days on. Terrible, uncaring front presented by FV.
We are lumped with a sofa, which is dangerous and they have decided not to allow us to change it. Now there is no contact regarding the second sofa.
We know where not go next time we order a sofa. This a précis.

I was greeted in store by kash who along with a warm welcome made the journey so easy and relaxed, I was offered a hot drink whilst I was comparing products. I also had another employee Ali who also helped and I would recommend to everyone I meet. Such great sales people and a wonderful store. I would recommend the Romford store and Ali to all

Ordered a new dining table with a side table. They sent the incorrect side table but were very quick to rectify the issue, they took it back and brought the correct sidetable within a week. The delivery guys were very friendly too. Top service all around.

I believe Jodie & Kam ’s handling of this situation should be formally reviewed. Customers should not be left without essential furniture for this long, nor should they have to chase repeatedly for a resolution

Excellent customer service today from Nicola at Furniture Village . My wife had briefly seen a sofa she liked but couldn’t remember any of the details, just a few small things about the pattern. Nicola somehow managed to find it and we successfully managed to order.

Popped into the Gallows Corner store to view a bed I saw on their website. I was immediately greeted by Swarn Marwaha who located the bed, demonstrated the ottoman function & discussed the various options with me. Swarn was very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable & I bought a bed in the perfect colour. I would definitely return to see Swarn for any future purchases as his customer service was great.

Came into Romford store on gallows corner just to look around. Ended up finding exactly what I wanted with the help from Ali who was Very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this store and Ali for any help needed! Thank you again

We went to Gallows Corner branch and had Swarn Marsha serve us and he was extremely helpful. We received professional service and advice. Swarn was very patient and helped sorting out measurements and discussing the furniture. I would definitely go back for more furniture!

Kash the manager was amazing, he was really helpful, informative and very knowledgeable. Ali the sales guy was really good, looked after my sales process.
