Had an issue with a stolen package, but they were super helpful at resolving, and even reserved a new version plus fought back when Royal Mail initially rejected the claim.

​I paid for 24-hour shipping, but my order was delayed to 48 hours due to an error on Games Lore's part. When I reached out to resolve the issue, I proposed a reasonable solution: either they refund the difference in shipping costs or split the shipping on two future preorders to send them seperately instead of together to compensate for their mistake.

​Unfortunately Games Lore's response was to refuse both options and cancel all my current preorders instead. This is a baffling business decision. For the sake of a few pounds, they chose to lose a regular customer (9 Purchases this month). It's a prime example of poor customer service and a complete failure to value repeat business.

Thoroughly impressed. Placed an order internationally and was in my hands four days later. Thanks for the quick turn around! The games I ordered look great.

Had the best price for the game I wanted - Horizons of Spirit Island. Ordered at 4pm on the thursday and it had arrived before 9am on the friday.

Great packaging for my order through Games Lore almost as good as my grandmother used to do, not quite GM rules, of course. I understand the packaging is recycled also, so that's a bonus. Thanks, David.

Ordered a 'damaged' Players handbook 2024. Item arrived very fast. Ordered Saturday 22nd March 2025, item arrived on Wednesday 26 March 2025. That is amazingly fast.

It was very well wrapped.

The level of honesty of damaged was fair but the price was commensurate with the damage. This ticks the box of professional integrity for me.

Overall, it was an excellent consumer experience and have bookmarked them for furture use.

Cancelled a magic the gathering pre order 2 weeks before release and now can’t get what I ordered anywhere without tripling the price. Don’t pre order from this shop, unreliable stock it seems

Pre-Ordered a MTG deck 2 weeks ago, they have just canceled my order due to a "Supplier Issue". The price of the deck has now increased 100% and I can no longer get this item due to this store's error. I would not recommend buying any pre-order's here
