Gas Equipment Direct Reviews 

Simply moved away from using Amazon due to the expensive extortionate increase this year, so instead of being lazy and using that service I was fortunate to find gas equipment direct with a very reasonable price for a gas meter enclosure, typically we all like it the next day, reality, there's nothing wrong with waiting a couple of days or so. Gas equipment direct were very clear that my order could take 2 to 3 working days. Incredibly I receive a notification from UPS courier service that I have a delivery coming the next morning I'm sure enough less than 24 hours and I have my item delivered. Impeccable service and you could not ask for better. Thank you

Having used GED for the first time I must say in their favour that the parts are good quality and arrive well packed. On the downside, their delivery updates need looking at as mine still says that it is being processed, also contacting them is not as easy as it should be but after 2 attempts I managed to get a reply that simply said that I had chosen 3-5 day delivery and that I had ordered in a week end, which has taken 5 days to arrive so it’s within what they stated, apart from the notification I was supposed to receive from DHL confirming delivery times, this still hasn’t arrived. So apart from no despatch update and nothing from DHL my item has arrived. Maybe paying the extra to get next day delivery might have been better, who knows, but 3-5 day obviously means 5 days and take a guess when it will arrive. Would I use GEQ again to save a fiver or so, then my answer is possibly not, and my reason is that I can order from China and get items in 3 days and can’t understand why it takes 5 days from Norfolk and using Covid as an excuse is wearing a bit thin now. To sum up GED is ok but dont be in a hurry, but they do supply good quality parts and they do arrive, but keeping customers up to date on order status needs looking at. Make your own mind up, I’m just an old grump.

Don’t bother ordering from here if you need something to arrive on time.

Ordered before 1:00 to ensure the item I needed arrived the next day. The following day no tracking details arrived.

Tried to ring them twice no answer. On my third attempt they bothered to answer the phone. I asked for a refund and to cancel they then shipped the item and told me to refuse delivery.

Absolute time wasters!

We purchased a Gas Meter Housing Box Cover for MK1. Communications from the company were very good and the item was received very quickly. Delighted with the item as our previous cover was falling to bits. Overall an excellent service.
