I have been using Gener8 for years, too long to remember. It quite happily sits in the background on my phone doing its thing and I do like the fact that the Google data now automatically resets every 7 days instead of having to remember to login and reset it.

However, I have amassed over 3,500 points and nothing really to use them on. Paying points for offers that already exist for free elsewhere, not my thing.

The things that do interest me, exchanging points for real world benefits, i.e Tesco, Amazon, Greggs, Just Eat gift cards - virtually impossible to get.

I went on the app today and there is nothing available.

I am worried that there is either not enough money in the data that they are collecting or they are worried that if they released the ability to withdraw all your collected rewards, they would become insolvent.

I think I will be focusing on trying to redeem my rewards over the next few months/year and then deleting the app as I am not confident that they have the ability to pay me for the data that I have provided.

Absolutely dogshit, all on offer is betting sites! No free items as it claims. Rubbish, don’t bother wasting your data to download.

Forcing you to download their app and stopping you from logging in / You used to be able to use this to get rewards on the chrome tab.. now, I have had an account for years, I go to the website and.. cannot enter to get a reward but am forced to download the app I then cannot log in. They say they want you to make £ from the data, but in fact they get your data they then probably sell and force you to download their app. DIsappointing..

All the reviews are bots dont listen to them i had 500 points i tried to redeem them for a 5$ amazon gift card when I tried to (Note: I was 30s early to redeem it) it refreshed and said wait on wensday to redeem this gift card this is the 3rd time to btw do not use this app it is a scam they make it very impossible to redeem a gift card they are just greedy stay away from them they want your data for free dont trust them

There where Bots scalping all the gift cards I could not withdraw my hard earned points 200 Amazon gift cards instantly gone in 1 minute!!!!
they rather waste all there funds on one person scalping gift cards then multiple pepole who worked hard!!!

Love this app very easy straight forward

Been using app about a month and randomly decided to use my point for the sweepstakes and shocked I actually won support is quick and payout was instant thank you genr8 and keep up the good work love the app so far!

I logged back into Gener8 after more than a year, hoping the rewards had improved — but they’ve actually got worse. Most of what’s listed now are just free offers or sign-ups, and a surprising number of them are gambling or betting promotions. The proper rewards that used to make it worthwhile are either gone or really hard to get.

It’s honestly disappointing — the rewards section feels like an afterthought now, and the reliance on gambling offers really drags it down. The idea behind Gener8 was great, but it’s moved away from that purpose. I’d love to see it focus again on giving users genuine value for sharing their data.

Been with Gener8 since 2019. It started off a bit promising, when rewards where easier to get and more substantial. Now they are much harder to get and less substantial. From the time i started with them, they've gone backwards and consistently promised to get better, but have not in the slightest.

In the first 2 years i got £85 worth of vouchers, in the past year alone i was only able to get £12

I love the app the only downside is you can only receive one gift card per week

Collected the points now have a M&S gift card for £5 to spend. Long time to use which is a bonus as Christmas is round the corner.

Don't bother with it... numerous promises to make things better which never happens. Almost impossible to get anything back from it so basically you are just selling your data to someone for free. I have been signed up pretty much from the start and am about to close everything down and I suggest you all do the same. Your data is worth far more to yourself than to others

Since I did some donations and got some nice discounts. Definitely a great way to use my data that would otherwise be sold without me being involved!

Easy to use, no issues at all claiming a gift card

I waited on the app for five whole minutes until the time went down for the gift card, as soon as I hit claim the second it became available the clock restarted for 2 seconds and no more were available.

I absolutely love the gener8 app! I got it back awhile ago when they didn’t even have anything available for those of us her in the US, it was still a good way to see my data and I always had a thought that they were going to include the US users eventually in rewards. Well they have done it it’s just super great. It’s very trustworthy I have never had any issues at all.

Limits charity donations which is poor. Wanted to use up points so used on arlo shake and viti coco drink ?? Points taken but when emailed link used it stated no voucher available. Its misleading and a CON. I have deleted the app.

I like the idea behind Gener8, but it didn’t really work for me. I kept seeing a lot of gambling-related promotions, and one of the partner offers — On That Ass — turned out to be a bad experience, as it led to an unexpected subscription. It’s a clever concept, but I think Gener8 should vet their partners more carefully, or at least make it clearer what users are actually signing up for. I’m sure it was in the small print, but that doesn’t feel very fair.

GENER8 is a very promising app with lots of opportunities to make money 🤑
